France's Green Tax Riots

I’m surprised no one mentioned the police are using toxic chemicals (tear gas) on the mob that are throwing rocks and damaging property. Those poor people. I’m sure there are women and children in the mob. I can’t wait for the CNN photographer to arrive on the scene. His photos are sure to change sentiment in support of the mob.

Accomplish? You mean a series of votes with no meaning whatsoever and zero chance of becoming law? Yep, sounds like left-wing accomplishment.

The country voted for a Congress that will work together and get things done. If Republicans wish to fight that agenda, they will lose by just as big of a margin come 2020.

Lol, I guess the subject matter of this thread flew right over your head, even the leftist loons in Europe are sick and tired of confiscatory taxation. And come on, let's face it, higher taxes is all the Democrat Party really stands for.

And this is why the democratic party here in the US will never truly make the tough decisions over Climate Change. Believing is all they actually require. Actually doing something meaningful like sacrificing is something they are not willing to do. You cannot have a significant Minimum Wage increase without raising carbon output; you cannot have producer based alternative energy without raising costs on the poor.

American media coverage of this massive revolt is minimal at best; wonder why that is?

Fascinating claim; did you argue that when Obama lost 63 house seats and 7 senate seats?
