“Sales of firearms have exponentially increased, and the political attitude has a lot to do with that," Rich Wyatt, gun master and former police officer, told Fox.

"I personally wasn’t in favor of Barack Obama for President, but he has been a great salesman and his anti-gun stance has really helped us.”

“If you want to sell something in America, tell people they can’t have it, Wyatt explained. "People fear he’ll ban guns so they go out and buy a dozen of them… President Clinton sold a lot for us, but President Obama has sold more.”

The huge increase in gun sales post the election of President Barack Hussein Obama is total proof of the idiotic and fear driven personalities of rightwingers in general. President Barack Hussein Obama has not taken or threated to take anyone's guns. In fact, he is more conservative on firearms issues than his conservative predecessor.

That's OK, however. Good American jobs are worth having from wherever they come.

I have a small handful of friends who live in Oakland who bought guns for the first time because Oakland has laid off a number of police officers and home burglaries and crime have increased in the nicer neighborhoods as a result. But hey Oakland is just a bunch of stupid right-wingers and we know liberals would never buy guns to protect their homes.

That is a good conversation to have. This one is about fear of President Barack Hussein Obama driving gun sales according to Fox News. Do you have anything to add to that circumstance?

Fox News isn't claiming anything.....they are reporting what Rich Wyatt, gun master and former police officer, told them.

Just don't want pinheads to mis-characterize what you're saying and get it wrong like they usually do.....

You can take it any way you want, pinhead navy gay tv channel. According to Fox News, just like I said, the sales of guns are on the huge rise post the election of President Barack Hussein Obama. Whether they made up the information, embellished it from an actual witness or stand on a straight up report the article comes from Fox News. Idiot.

Smell that?

I can't read what the troll posts, I only saw the headline which said fear drives gun sales. The example I gave was of fear driving gun sales.

Sales of handguns and ammunition are booming across the country, and retailers say it’s all about the November election.

Gun shop owners around the nation told FoxNews.com that sales, brisk ever since President Obama was elected, have spiked upward in recent months.

And manufacturers are having so much trouble keeping up with the demand that one, Sturm, Ruger & Co., can’t keep up with demand.

The Southport, Conn.-based company has had to suspend new orders after taking orders for more than 1 million guns in the first three months of the year.

Smith & Wesson sales are way up, as well.

“Sales usually increase this time of year with tax returns, but this year has been higher than most,” Mike Weeks told FoxNews.com.

“People are scared their gun rights are going to be curtailed after the election."

Weeks said his sales are up around 30 percent, and that he now sells ammo by the case.

“Usually people come in to buy three or four boxes for target practice. Now they are coming in asking what kind of deals they could get on a case,” he said.

Industry experts and gun shop owners alike say the factor driving gun sales is the Nov. 6 election.

There was a similar spike before President Obama was elected to his first term, and many gun buyers are saying they fear Obama’s re-election could mean more regulations on firearms....

No; it's because we had advance warning of the Zimmerman case and have just been preparing for when all the Liberal moonbats begin screaming and throwing a fit, when he's found to be not guilty. :)
