Fox News confirms The Atlantic’s story!

The "enemies recycling very old news" don't have to try to make him look bad; they just need to report his comments which speak for themselves. The real problem is trump allies trying to make him look good; they earn every cent they're paid because it's a thankless job.

There is nothing new here....I was following this story in real time......I knew all of this within a week of the event....that is my issue.....the pretending that there is something new here.

From the link: "Congress passed a pair of bills aimed at improving education and other aspects of the transition from military to civilian life."

Congress passed a couple of bills and Trump signed them? That's IT? What Trump actually thinks of the military?

I doubt there is any admin in the last 100 years that didn't have at least a few bills signed for the military....

If you are in the military and you NOW support Trump, you are every bit the sucker he says you are.
If he owned you, he would disown you, like his own child.

Jennifer Griffith, news reporter for Fox News, confirms the Atlantic’s story about Trump calling American soldiers who die losers.

“Two former sr Trump admin officials confirm .@JeffreyGoldberg reporting that President Trump disparaged veterans and did not want to drive to honor American war dead at Aisne-Marne Cemetery outside Paris.” Jennifer Griffith, Fox News 9-3-20

Posts no link

I have a very good guess that it’s general Mathis and general Kelly.

That's right and neither of them recollected Trump making any disparaging remarks. And, Bolton would
have had the perfect venue to make headlines by including it in his book. He didn't.
Another nothing burger.

Bolton was around the White House at the time of Trump's visit to France, he was still one of Fox's "regular contributors"

I consider his m.o. - what is being reported is entirely consistent with EVERYTHING we have seen & heard from Trump.

How many times does he have to show you exactly who he is for you to believe it?

Even though the story is contested by different people I should just go ahead and believe it because it’s consistent with Trump’s MO, whatever that means.

No thank you.

Trump hasn’t started any stupid wars and is at least trying to get us out of the one we’re in. That’s good enough for me.

That is what he ran on and that’s one of the reasons I voted for him. I’ll leave the speculative ‘stories’ to others.

So? They all agreed it was a security/weather event on too short of notice for added detail and arrangements. The Secret Service won the argument and that was that.

It is part of Trump's MO, from his remarks regarding McCain, his dissing gold star families, reluctance to visit Arlington, to a number of other instances questioning his sincerity

Not saying the story is true, but given Trump's now documented history of flat out lying, there isn't really a lot of reasons to believe it is not true, you might say Trump is now seeing the consequences of lying so frequently

It's fake news that it's being "disputed." Bolton only said he didn't hear it - not that it means Trump didn't say it.

To me, it's not "the deal breaker." Trump says stuff like this almost every day - about the military, women, minorities, and pretty much anyone. He's really one of the most repugnant human beings we've had in public office.

She can report what she wants. You'll never see THAT kind of freedom allowed at CNN or MSNBC.
Like I said, "HER 2 people want anonymity.......they're scardey cats of big bad twitter."

Twitter, the right wing media, and Trump himself, you saw all the death threats Dr Fauci receives just from telling the truth as a medical professional, can't imagine what they would endure

This is disgraceful, if true, which it probably is knowing Trump's crass obnoxious mouth.

I say that having my Polish American father as a Vietnam Veteran, my Polish American Uncle a Vietnam Veteran & Purple Heart, my Irish American grandfather was a World War 2 Veteran, and my Polish American Great Uncle died in Normandy fighting the Nazi Germans.

They want the phony twitter bots to say mean things to them.

THAT'S A LIE; LET'S SEE GRIFFIN ACTUAL WORDS...FUCKING LIAR.

BOLTON ALREADY DEBUNKED IT....AND HE WAS THERE...

I read Bolton's book and if I recall correctly, he wasn't with trump every minute of that day. He even says in this Bloomberg interview "I didn't hear him say those things but did he say those things to other people later in the day, certainly it's possible..."
