I can also see Fox running it on a delay so that they can show only approved (i.e. boring and/or of little consequence over all) segments, while cutting out anything detrimental to Trump.

Those sources covered the story. They just didn't treat it as front-page news, which makes perfect sense, since there wasn't much to it. No shots were fired. A mentally ill man traveled with the plan to kill the justice, but then wound up calling an emergency communications center, saying he had suicidal thoughts and admitting his plan. He then stayed there until officers showed up and took him into custody without incident. It's not the kind of story that would ordinarily be treated as front-page news.

The story is similar to when Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr. traveled to DC with an unregistered assault rifle and texted about shooting Nancy Pelosi. That, similarly, involved no shots being fired and the man being arrested without incident, and so it wasn't treated as front-page news.

Exactly. You could actually argue it got too much coverage, not too little. There's no reasonable way to say it should have been regarded as front-page news.

Oh.. well... I don't want to put words in anyone's mouths but it would be nice if someone reminded the troll that the market has always fluctuated but has always trended upward. It might be up 2000 pts tomorrow. Also, even though fuel prices are high, AAA and airlines report summer travel is actually up over last year.

Bottom line. It's idiotic to look at a few days' activity of a downward stock market trend and assume it's going to continue.

Since the early 1900's the market has gone nowhere but up!

I mean.. If "someone" wanted to tell Earl that.
