Well, it’s not about Obama, the “whataboutisms” four years in, are getting old, but Obama inherited his economic crisis, Trump didn’t, and Trump’s reaction to the pandemic added to his own crisis

Hardly the quick V recovery Trump promised, or his Administration told us would be happening by June

Right, that will make the 18 million unemployed happy, and that “rapidly ongoing recovery,” which by the way was stimulated by trillions, was promised by Trump to be here already, Jared said it was going to happen in June

Trump inherited the economy from the governors who locked down their states at the guidance of the medical bureaucracy.

One really great thing about it is that it will absolutely be Trump’s economy when it gets back and we won’t need to listen to the ‘it’s Obama’s economy’ nonsense anymore.

I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

Every person who can go back to work is a win after the unprecedented economic crisis the Covid-19 pandemic has brought on. However, America is still down 11.5 million jobs from February.

Compare the economy Obama inherited v. what Trump* inherited.


Obama inherited a crashing economy losing jobs by the millions.

Trump inherited a growing economy gaining jobs by the millions.

There isn't a comparison. Trump hasn't even made a dent in the residual damage from the crash he caused (not inherited).

If he had promoted masks from the beginning, not dismantled the Pandemic Taskforce Obama/Biden had in place, not pushed to reopen too early, admitted this was more than a bad flu from the start, and not told his supporters it the numbers "would be 0 in a few days", things would have been MUCH better.
