Oh really? I am not sure how much of a "bump" trump ever got. I saw a lot of conflicting polls on that, so I don't know. I did see a poll yesterday putting Hillary up 9 in PA, and I did wonder if that was the beginning of her convention bump. But I also wonder just how much Trump's Putin shit this week is going to play into that "bump". Like how much will be a Hillary bump solely from the fantastic convention, and how much of it will be republicans who were hanging on by a thread finally ditching him. Putin was almost definitely a bridge too far for some sane republicans out there. It's going to be interesting!

He did erase Hillary's lead w/ their convention, but it was a pretty small bump by historical standards.

If Hillary doesn't get a huge bump, it's a problem. But I really don't anticipate that. This week was nearly pitch-perfect for the DNC, especially w/ Trump's Putin thing. I do think she'll get a more robust bump that's in line what candidates usually get. I expect a double-digit lead by this time next week (and PMP is going to hold me to that, so...)
 
have to laugh at RCP.....last three polls in Missouri show Trump up by 10 in two of them and Clinton up by 1 in the third......therefore they have moved Missouri to "Toss Up"........
 
I should ask Damo to put a countdown clock on the site predicting the time that the Trumpsters start calling the polls "lamestream left-wing media scams."

I'm going to call COB on Tuesday.

include all the candidates on the ballot on election day and its a tie :)

fyi its still sampled at democrats +6. We just need good turnout on election day and all will be good.

Ultimately, it was a pretty unified convention by week's end, which was one of their goals. And as I said before, they somehow made all of those positive themes the GOP used to espouse their own.

Boos and protests, loved it.....there was little to none at the RNC....kinda boring....
if you seriously can call booing speakers off stage and getting fired and shouting 'lock her up' to Hillary's name, unified....you're living in a imaginary world of you own...

and getting the public to ignore the content of the emails, proving it was fixed from the start and the racism, etc was a stroke of genius....with the help of the media, quite easy....
but we know the DNC's goals one of which I posted in the get ready for change post....of course Hillary skipped over that one....along with voting in the past for border barrier and her brave landing under fire, etc....just a list of her lies over the past year would have taken the whole night....

but I enjoyed the little I saw....

Pretty much everything you've said.

I mean, there is a small basis in SOME truth. But the worldview itself & perception of events is completely warped, as though through the most extreme partisan prism.

It's in complete contrast to what actually happened this week. Again, we can revisit this discussion in a few days.
