it is not preferred, it is outdated, but since it means black in Spanish and Portuguese and was accepted as the correct, non-slur word for decades, IT IS NOT RACIST, STUPID FUCK BITCH. it means black. how can it be racist? does the word black imply racism? colored people the same way. it is like calling an irishman white or an australian white, it is describing his skin color, with no particular negative connotation. ass.
