Four Articles of IMPEACHMENT were just filed against Tim Walz in the Minnesota House

It doesn't go to court. The state House passes the bill, the Senate tries the case. Of course, if this were Trump, you'd have already declared him guilty and demanded an execution.
This is news to me....that the national Congress can supersede a state Congress and impeach its' governor. Can you map that out for the reading audience by tomorrow evening or at a later date? We'll wait.

This is a person who came very close to being a president.

This is a person who was caught multiple times, and it was ignored.

The worst part, I know that when it comes to Democrat corruption, this guy is just kinda average.

Lying piece of shit. ☝🏼
What? Can't believe someone other than Trump, and a Democrat at that, could get impeached?
Lying scumbag. ☝🏼

Each state's legislature has the power to impeach state politicians in office, just like Congress at the federal level.

The process is the same, but the necessary votes for impeachment and conviction can vary from state to state. Usually a 2/3rds majority must impeach and convict.

Here's a couple of successful impeachments in Arizona over the years.

In Azscam, a half dozen or so legislators were caught on video taking bribes to vote certain ways on certain bills. They all fell on a proverbial sword and resigned--some were also criminally convicted--from office, apologizing profusely. The exception was Carolyn Walker. She got loud and angry calling her fellow legislators "racists" and such and saying she wasn't going to resign and they couldn't make her.

Her employer (AZ legislators are part-time and hold other jobs usually) fired her. The legislature impeached and convicted her. Her vote in the senate was the only one against her conviction.

Then there was Governor Ev Mecham. Ev was a car dealer turned politician and everybody in politics pretty much hated the guy. The legislature found a reason to impeach him and the rest is history.

He was the 15th of 15 governors across all 50 states to be impeached in US history. If Walz is impeached he'll be number 16.
