Forty two guns! The guy owned forty two guns, forty two, most people

that is correct. I don't see a problem. Everyone should be encouraged to own arsenals.

If you are going to have a real conversation, you should at least attempt to understand the other side that you are debating.

I don't believe in the 2nd amendment to hunt deer. I believe in it so the citizenry is capable of armed insurrection, should the need ever occur.

There is no "understanding" of that inanity, that everyone should be stocking up on weapons to get ready for an "armed insurrection," the last time someone thought like that a building was blown up in Oklahoma costing hundreds of innocent people including children to lose their life

If you really want a "debate," forget that idiocy

don't own forty two of anything, and this guy has forty two guns. What would be the thought behind amassing forty two guns? Why would anyone feel they need forty two guns? What in the hell does one plan to do with forty two guns?

And don't say he was a collector, it's not like guns are a rare commodity in the US, a scarce resource, we got more guns than people and they are easily accessible. Why does a guy go out of his way to assemble forty two guns?

And conservatives don't see a problem here?

Maybe because he liked guns. Why do you have forty two Barry Manilow albums? Why do you feel you NEED forty two Barry Manilow albums?

It's a great question that you probably won't get a answer to.

I don't think everyone has a right to own a gun, so I can't answer. Why anyone would need 42 is just absurd.

My grandmother owns hundreds of cookbooks, why anyone would need hundreds of cookbooks is just absurd!

I see a problem with the shooter, not the 42 guns. You speak as if the guns kidnapped the bastard and forced him to open fire on the concert.

The crazy fucker was radicalized. It's the only explanation that makes sense.

No, but a person who made it a task to collect 42 should have left some red flags behind

The question I was asking is what type of thinking goes thru a person's head that makes it goal to seemingly get as many guns as he/she could

Why?

Why wasn't this person that had 15 kids not red flagged and sterilized when, after the first few, it was determined she couldn't afford to support any of them?

Barry Manilow records and cookbooks never killed anyone

How can you possibly know that? Have you ever played a Barry Manilow record backwards on the Sabbath?
Have you ever had Cheesy Tuna Noodle Casserole? obviously not because you're still alive.

BTW, Tell me when a gun has ever killed someone. Was the gun pissed off at someone? Was the gun in a gang? Maybe the gun was cleaning itself when it accidentally went off.

Maybe the same thing that goes through a persons head who collects stamps or old coins. I've been collecting 1943 steel war pennies since I was 10 and I now have thousands.

As you can tell I'm perfectly fine in the head. I voted for Trump if you don't believe me.

Jay Leno owns 169 automobiles and 117 motorcycles!!

Q - Why does anyone need 169 automobiles??
A - Automobiles have never killed anyone.
Q - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A - UH - Guns, guns, guns, guns.

No, no, no, that's changing the subject, even if you believe in the Second Amendment, no right is absolute, so that does not relate to why a person would feel the need to own forty two guns

only a completely brain dead retard would accept that the 2nd Amendment is there to defend against a tyrannical government, but then advocate that the government has power to restrict that right because no right is absolute.

What red flags? Where? The guy had to have gotten the guns illegally.

What goes through his head? The fucker was crazy. Again, he was probably radicalized, and he wanted to get his jihad on.

"happiness is a warm gun" ( John Lennon)

At about 400 rounds per minute Paddock's gun barrels were plenty warm...
Hoplomaniacs hold full-auto as their holy grail and often their goal in life is to own one.
Bump-stocks are selling like hotcakes since the massacre.
He must have been very happy in his last minutes.

Forty two guns! The guy owned forty two guns, forty two! How in the fuck do we shred the 2nd Amendment and disarm America's citizenry?!?

So is it absolute?
