Yes, blame the shooter...but the "shit religion" crack is rather subjective. Bottom line: fundamentalism can be or is part of any religion....to blame the "entire" religion for the acts of various sects is wrong....case in point, you don't call catholicism a "shit religion" for the clowns who murdered doctors that perform abortions, do you?

Reports are out now that folks in the military were sending up red flags about Hasan's divided loyalties between his oath of the miitary and his devotion to his religion....and that was in 2007. So the system was there to weed him out, it just didn't do it's job.

Ahhh, but that's to point out the flaw in the ORGANIZATION, and NOT the tenants of the faith itself. Now personally, I don't see how people can still support the organization when it's been proven that they aided and abetted pedophiles....I'd just grab my bible and pray on my own. But again, that doesn't make ALL catholics pedophiles.
