We are neutral in matters of the forum moderation. We do have opinions which we are free to express on this forum. We also have written rules and each violation is discussed in a private mod forum, one mod can not act on their own in matters of banning, unless it is a spammer or a banned member trying to sneak back on the board.

That's good information to know and I appreciate your response. There are many violations here on the JPP forums, however. I've yet to see one "addressed". But, I've not been here all that long. I'll keep watching:)
This rule seems to be passed over very frequently...

12. Rule 12 - Limits on sexual content:


12(a) - No Porn. This is not a porn site. It will be deleted. If it is constant you will likely lose access to the board. The board is for debate not sexual content. This includes nude photos and links to such as well as graphic stories of sexual encounters. This is a politics site, not a site for sexual gratification.

12(b) - No sexual comments relating to minors. With the exception of news articles or a mature discussion involving stats, how it effects people etc, We DO NOT want ANY mention in ANY context about suggesting encounters with another poster and a child, or with yourself and another poster's child, nor any mention of kids being sexually assaulted, sexually molested, raped, having people being called pedophiles, suggesting posters may have been molested as a kid, having vague references to any of the former, having a "clever" play on words with a wink and a nod that might suggest any of the former, any slight references, WE WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF IT. Do not try to approach the line to test us to see what one can get away with, if you approach the line, chances are you will not receive the benefit of the doubt.

12(c) - Language that is sexually violent (e.g. rape/incest/graphic sex details that simply go 'too far') and/or is used in a manner to harass other users may be removed at moderator discretion without notice or apology, and could end up resulting in a ban if we get tired of repeatedly having to edit posts made by the same individuals over and over.

It's also not that hard to just stop talking about other people in the Nasty Seventh-grade Girl way Toxic does, hoping that they'll respond so she can fake-ignore. She's too cowardly to say anything to my face like I do to hers.

And you're right; I've noticed that if I post something about her the "Nyah nyah I can't hear you" comments pops right up.... but not when I've posted to someone about something else.... both of them before I've been quoted.

Amazon also had an ignore feature and she did exactly the same thing there.

I noticed that right away on the Amazon refugee thread when you guys first came here. Seems like a waste of time and energy, but what do I know.

We all know how you save posts for years upon years. Why not re-post some of these many violations you've seen? Feel free of course to remove any offensive words or images so you won't swoon; the JPP Swooning Couch is at the drycleaners.

Maybe because what you consider a clear violation isn't, according to the mods?

This board is very lightly moderated. Most of the bans involve breaking rule 12b. If you can give a few examples of what you think deserves a smack, the mods can clarify why or why not it's a violation.

Apparently more than 7th Grade Mean Girl.

I have a few (four) disgusting-to-me people on ignore. Don't look at their stuff, don't mention them exc. vaguely like this, don't announce that they're being ignored when they've responded to my posts. It's not that hard.

Yes, there are times we miss posts, I skip a lot of threads which don’t interest me and don’t read a lot of the back and forth posting that often leads to rules violations.

We don’t have rules against name calling.

I’d be very interested in an example of a clear and repeated violation, thanks
