Former Florida Governor candidate Andrew Gillum indicted for wire fraud

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A federal grand jury indicted former Tallahassee mayor and his associate for conspiracy, wire fraud and making false statements to the FBI. The indictment was announced by the United States Attorney's Office on Wednesday morning.

Former gubernatorial candidate Andrew Demetric Gillum, 42, and Sharon Janet Lettman-Hicks, 53, are both charged with 19 counts of wire fraud. Gillum is additionally charged with making false statements to the FBI.
