Former FBI Director James Comey indicted on charges of lying to Congress, obstruction of justice

The Senate did not force the DOJ to prosecute Comey, that would be trump.
nobody forced the prosecution of Comey. they pushed for an investigation, a grand jury decided on prosecution.

JFK once campaigned on pushing for an investigation into a person - and when elected, he did. Nobody cried foul about Jimmy Hoffa being targeted for investigation

nobody forced the prosecution of Comey.
I suppose that is for the jury to figure out. trump fired three prosecutors for not prosecuting Comey, and finally brought in a totally not qualified prosecutor who would finally do it. he publicly demanded Comey's prosecution.

I think it is pretty clear.

Nobody cried foul about Jimmy Hoffa being targeted for investigation
Hoffa cried foul.. And of course Nixon, which is part of the reason he pardoned Hoffa.

And of course Hoffa was found guilty, where Comey has much less chance of being found guilty.

you seem really lose with facts. Here is what can find:

  • In 2025, a federal prosecutor named Maurene Comey (daughter of James Comey) was abruptly fired by the Justice Department. Rolling Stone+3Reuters+3CBS News+3
  • Also in 2025, Erik Siebert, interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was removed amid reported pressure from Trump after he declined to bring a case against New York Attorney General Letitia James. ABC News+3ABC News+3CBS News+3
  • After Siebert’s removal, Trump’s administration announced Lindsey Halligan as his replacement, and Halligan moved forward to pursue charges against James Comey, despite prior career prosecutors in the office reportedly concluding there was no probable cause. ABC News+3ABC News+3ABC News+3

Maye you are confusing Troy Edwards - another relative of Comey - who resigned from his position as a federal prosecutor minutes after Comey was indicted

Biden didn't steal the election. DEMOCRATS DID. Biden was just a pawn.

Argument from randU fallacy. Void argument fallacy.

DON'T TRY TO DENY DEMOCRAT ELECTION FRAUD!

* Election law changes DURING an election.
* Election law changes in violation of federal law.
* Numerous examples of counting after hours with NO OBSERVERS PRESENT.
* Mathematical improbability of all votes in 'overnight counting' being for Democrats.
* Demonstrable security holes in election machine software.
* Unsecured ballot handling.
* The use of 'mules' collecting 'votes' and depositing them in unsecured drop boxes.
* Election law changes in violation of a State constitution.
* The failure of over seven States to choose electors.
* Suitcases containing ballots being pulled out from under desks after hours WITH NO OBSERVERS PRESENT.
* Ballots being read through the machine multiple times.
* Dead people 'voting'.
* 'Mystery' failures in voter tabulators in Republican held districts.
* A truck containing ballots intercepted while trying to enter Canada.
* Affidavits on file testifying of election fraud taking place in election processing centers.

YOU CAN'T MAKE THE EVIDENCE JUST DISAPPEAR, ANCHOVIES!
^ Argument from debunked claims

Got to love the “suitcases … pulled out from under desks,” I believed that’s the one that cost Rudi millions, too funny

For an 'unqualified prosecutor', he was successful with the indictment. The case is going to trial.
Courtier fallacy.

trump forced the prosecution, even though multiple prosecutors said there was no case. Worse yet, he did this publicly. This is a slam dunk false prosecution case. Comey is more likely to have a huge payday than to go broke.
More likely the legal fees will bankrupt him. Thats what dems did to trump allies during 4 years of joe vegetable.

Interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan got a grand jury to indict former FBI Director James Comey on two counts. But Halligan showed her inexperience Thursday as the jurors rejected a third charge, and she submitted the wrong documents to the judge.

It was Halligan’s fourth day on the job. She was formerly Trump’s personal lawyer, and recently led the president’s efforts to de-emphasize slavery at the Smithsonian museums.

...............

The newcomer went it alone Thursday, as MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian reports that Halligan “presented the Comey indictment all by herself to the grand jury,” a sign that she “may have a problem finding a prosecutor in office to work on the case.” The indictment was also signed only by Halligan, according to The New York Times, while “typically such filings are also endorsed by career prosecutors who have gathered the evidence in the case.”

...........

After the jury rejected that charge, prosecutors presented U.S. Magistrate Judge Lindsey Vaala with an indictment with just the two others. But, as The Washington Post reports, Halligan accidentally “gave the judge both indictments Thursday evening, prompting confusion.”

“This has never happened before. I’ve been handed two documents ... with a discrepancy,” Vaala said. “I’m a little confused why I was handed two things ... that were inconsistent.”

Ms. Halligan, who took over on Monday after her predecessor quit rather than prosecute James B. Comey with what he believed was insufficient evidence, had a little trouble with the first two tasks. At one point, she entered the wrong courtroom. When she found the right one, she stood on the wrong side of the judge, then appeared confused about the paperwork she just had signed.

Walter, AKA WWW (Wrong Way Walter per Damo) is fading fast.

trump has publicly stated that he is pushing the prosecution. The indictment is defective, it does not even list an exact quote. There is a really good chance this ends with a huge judgement for Comey.

Remember, there are all those professional prosecutors who refused to prosecute Comey who can be witnesses for Comey, and trump has made evidence of his meddling public.
