We had 8 years of peace and prosperity under Obama/Biden except for the two unwinable wars Bush/Cheyney started. Obama/Biden also saved the economy from collapse after W. Bush. No impeachments and no one tried to overthrow our government.
Obama and Biden spend all day governing. trump spent all day on the golf course while inciting violence, hate and division on Twitter.
The economy started to tank under trump. Last week, we barely escaped the Republicans pushing the world economy over a cliff. Biden outmaneuvered the treasonous Republicans, thank you, Joe!
Also, trump was trying to start a war with Iran to "wag the dog" in an attempt to hold onto the presidency. You might fool yourself, but you're not fooling us.
Obama lead the effort to overthrow the government from with-in, to great effect.

Lower oil prices are bad for Russia. Biden's energy policies led to US energy dependence and increased oil prices which helped Putin finance his war in Ukraine. Trump gave Ukraine hundreds of Javelins to help them defend against a future Russian attack. Obama and BIDEN were against giving Ukraine Javelins. Trump killed over 200 Russians in Syria. Sure does not seem like Trump and Putin were buddies.

Even unarmed, they had THE SHEER NUMBERS to overpower the under - defended Capitol building. I mean, video footage from Jan 6th even shows armed security officers inside the Capitol building courteously opening doors to allow demonstrators into different areas of the building (??!!).
When I watched filmed footage of the events of January 6th on TV , etc;, what I saw was some rowdy behaviour outside the building at one point- with some people engaged in "pushing and shoving' (or a bit of "argy-bargy" as the English say) some arguments and scuffles as metal barricades were knocked down, some individual demonstrators trying to scramble up walls on the front of the Capitol building, lots of noise (shouting, chanting, etc). BUT WHAT I DID NOT SEE WAS ANY SIGN OF PURPOSEFUL, PRE-PLANNED TACTIC/s on the part of any sizeable group of protestors to gain entry into the Capitol building. If Jan 6th had been a planned insurrection, I would have expected to see some kind of decisive ORGANISED strategy to breach the Capitol, and quickly move a largish number of protestors inside the building. As it was, I only saw random individuals or small groups of individual demonstrators move into the Capitol building in "fits and spurts".. Moreover, a lot the protesters who managed to get inside the Capitol, looked like totally harmless to me. They bought to mind foreign tourists visiting a famous, old American building - wandering around looking at the 18th - oil portraits and sculptures and elegant old fittings, with a mild expression of awe on their faces THEY DID NOT LOOK VERY MUCH LIKE BOLSHEVIKS OR NAZI STURM ABTEILUNG "BROWN SHIRTS" TO ME, BIDENPRESIDENT There was ONE (1) hairy-assed character filmed inside the Capitol:- a young man wearing horns on his head (like a Viking), fur garments and blue paint on his face/body, who did look quite "herbal", wild and ferocious. But even he was docile and well-behaved inside the Capitol on Jan 6th. The poor wretch was obviously afflicted with a severe psychiatric condition, despite this, was imprisoned in miserable conditions for a considerable length of time, as punishment for his role in the "terrifying", "bloody", Jan 6th "insurrection."
So, BP, what it all boils down to is this: (1) for whatever reason the Capitol building had not been secured inside or out in preparation for Jan 6th. This was very odd given it was known that a particularly large number of MAGA faithful and other conservatives/Republicans would be attending a big Trump rally on jan 6th not far from the Capitol building. Interestingly, before Jan 6th, Donald Trump himself had suggested that some 20,000 armed government troops be deployed around the Capitol building to ensure security. This, given the fact that many people were very angry about the Nov 2020 election and would be protesting on the day (2)There was no "insurrection" on Jan 6th. If (hypothetically speaking) the UNARMED crowd of protestors outside the Capitol building has been serious about staging an insurrection, THEY COULD HAVE - just by using the sheer strength of numbers they had. Also, the Capitol building was not secured adequately from without or within - in fact, it was nowhere close to being adequately secured.
THERE WAS NO INSURRECTION - or anything remotely resembling one -at the Capitol building on Jan 6th, 2021. REAL insurrections, putsches, coup d'etats have two VERY BASIC things in common BP (1): They are PLANNED IN DETAIL before they are executed (2): those who carry them out are ARMED and trained in the use of arms.
If an insurrection was what the Jan 6th demonstrators truly had in mind, they could EASILY have carried out a successful coup d'etat. Even though they we unarmed and had clearly not pre-planned any coup; HAD THEY (for argument's sake) AT SOME POINT been galvanised into collective action with the aim of seizing control of the Chamber in the Capitol building where the electoral votes were being counted, they could have done so very simply. In retrospect that would have been a very good thing, as Biden's Marxist/progressive administration has - and continues - to deliver misery of all kinds to the American people, while it continues to destabilise the entire globe. The Biden government is one of those rare cases where abortion would have been justified (on Jan 6th). An insurrection on the 6th of Jan, 2021, to strangle a Biden government before birth could have been a bloodless (or near bloodless) as well, just like Lenin's Bolshevik insurrection at the "Winter Palace" on 25th October, 1917. The difference being that instead to placing communists in charge of the American government, a robust, commonsense, traditional conservative (Trump) regime would be installed, and the American people would not have had to endure the suffering that they have since Jan 20th, 2021.
Ironically, it was an unarmed protestor, Ashli Babbitt, who was shot through the shoulder (near her neck) and killed in the Capitol building on Jan 6th by a Black member of the Capitol police named Michael Byrd. I saw the video of Ashli Babbitt being shot and I could not see any justification for the use of lethal force in the circumstance. The video tape of the incident looks eerily like an "execution" to me. The cop who shot her was standing with two other male cops beside him; why they couldn't they have physically restrained Babbitt - a young, UNARMED WOMAN for proceeding further in the direction she wanted to go, I don't know. Also, why the police gunman couldn't have verbally warned her to stop trying to move in the direction the chamber lobby (which was full of Capitol police officers in any case, or fired a warning shot, before putting a bullet into her shoulder at a point near her neck, I don't know? It looked like an unjustified murder to me when I watched the video; and that's what it looked like to everyone else in America who saw it. The shooting death of Ashli Babbit (ardent Trump-supporter)ratcheted-up the political temperature across America, as her unjustified murder came to symbolise the injustice that Donald Trump has been dealt in the Nov 2020 election. This Presidential race was already being referred to as the "stolen" election by many Trump/ Republican voters. Because Garland's DOJ knew that Ashli Babbitt's death was indefensible, he sent a memo to "recommend" that the US Attorney General's office in Washington DC did not pursue a prosecution in Babbitt's fatal shooting. Then on April 14th, 2021, Garland's DOJ publicly announced that there would be no prosecution sought in the case of Babbitt's shooting death.
Immediately after the death of Ashli Babbitt, Michael Byrd has completely disappeared from public view. It turns out he was being hidden in a luxury hotel by the government at tax-payers' expense, and it was not until August of 2021 that he re-emerged in the public eye and identified himself. Byrd had agreed to sit for a nationally - televised interview with NBC in which he would have an opportunity to explain his actions in the shooting of Ashli Babbit. Although he was ,no doubt, thoroughly coached before the interview, Byrd muffed it, and appeared decidedly suspect/dodgy during this interview. I think this was due to the fact that he was not a particularly intelligent specimen, and simply lacked the cognitive sharpness and flexibility to deal with the questions he was asked - even by an interviewer employed by the Democrat-friendly network, NBC. Byrd has not been seen or heard of since that bungled NBC interview. I suspect he has been permanently hidden away somewhere on the equivalent of a witness protection program, because there was/is no doubt his own life was in danger after he was identified as cop who killed Ashli Babbitt (Byrd disappeared just like that piece of "pond scum", Christine Blasey Ford, who decided she'd better vanish fast before someone put a bullet through her scone). Or perhaps a covert government agent (FBI? CIA?) has already "dealt with" Byrd - that would hardly surprise me given the lawlessness of this rogue, Biden administration.
