For the love of God, enough already!

First of all, I have NOT piled on Palin and the TP. How many times do I have to say this?

I say all theories are on the table at this point and my opinion is as valid as yours.

yet you bringing them up, you did it all over the weekend, you constantly kept bringing up the rep in kentucky or wherever that had a gun campaign, you must have repeated his quote a hundred times, and you kept bringing up palin....you were very concerned about the hate speech on the right and wanted to "analyze" it in order to "understand" the shooter, but you NEVER cared to analyze any left wing speech

but now it looks like it more likely than not nothing to do with the right and youre furiously back peddling

The continuation of the politicization of this tragedy is disgusting.

Bullshit. You're trying as hard as you can to turn this tragedy into a speech fairness issue between conservatives and liberals. Google the news, there are hundreds of articles discussing how political vitriol can incite unhinged people. It's what people throughout the country are discussing, not just liberals on this board.

You want to boil it down to two words: he's crazy. Well here's a newsflash, crazy doesn't automatically translate to violence. The crazy man didn't target Jan Brewer or Joe Arpaio. Something made the crazy man target a Dem politician he had a grudge against. That is undeniable fact. The sheriff had it right when he said "I-I think that when the rhetoric about hatred about mistrust of government about paranoia about how government operates, and to try to inflame the public on a daily basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week has impact on people especially who are unbalanced personalities to begin with," he said.

So far Laughner hasn't said a single word about the shootings, so it's left to others to try and figure it out. Apparently you're in the camp who thinks he couldn't have been influenced by political vitriol. Maybe you can offer up a reason why this should be so.

LOL! help for the mentally ill in Arizona! LOL! We have right wing death panels here, in the early 80s Reagan cut funding for mental institutions and a year later we had a 'homeless problem'. this state is morally and economically bankrupt. Whatever this guys politics are doesn't matter. What matters is he was crazy enough to pull the trigger. Maybe Faux news will realize that their politicians are at risk too and will tone down the violent propaganda.

Naaaa never gonna happen. What's a few deaths to them? It actually reinforces their ongoing hate and fear campaigns.

Why doesn't Yurt just shut the fuck up about it?

thank you for admitting you are in fact blaming the right.

look at what you said, you're bitching that i'm trying to turn into a fairness issue. then you bitch that i'm holding the guy responsible.

my fucking goodness, you're sitting here blaming anyone but the shooter. you have run all over the board blaming the right, palin et al, then you have the nerve to claim you're not piling on. you have repeatedly said you THINK we SHOULD analyze the vitriol the speech, yet you NEVER want to analyze the speech from your party.

if you truly cared, you would. that has nothing to do with fairness, its called intellectual honesty. if you want to have an honest discussion, you can't simply ignore the vitriol from your own party, period.

but go ahead and continue to make this about me and continue to ignore the hate from your own party, that will really help us understand the shooter.

The "country is talking about it" in this light because liberal hypocrites are fanning that flame!

The comments by chris et al prove the hypocrisy and likewise prove the desire to make this about what conservatives say- What's that saying "clean up your own backyard then we can talk about mine".

Now that he's been exposed for the lib-tard that he is you blame Reagan. :)

Quote my exact words blaming the right.

look at what you said, you're bitching that i'm trying to turn into a fairness issue. then you bitch that i'm holding the guy responsible.

 We all know he's responsible. The issue is whether he did it because she was a Dem he had a grudge against, and current evidence shows that to be the case.

You're out of your league here. These long threads are too confusing for you to keep straight who said what. I didn't say we should analyze "vitriol the speech", whatever that means. I said we should try to analyze the shooter's motive for targeting Giffords.

if you truly cared, you would. that has nothing to do with fairness, its called intellectual honesty. if you want to have an honest discussion, you can't simply ignore the vitriol from your own party, period.

If you truly cared you'd stop trying to make this about a speech fairness issue, and at least pay lip service to the fact that your party is head and shoulders above mine when it comes to the current, hate-filled rhetoric.

but go ahead and continue to make this about me and continue to ignore the hate from your own party, that will really help us understand the shooter.

Of course. Just as soon as you stop pointing the finger at me, Bfgrn, Mojo, Nigel and all the others who are offering our opinions, just like those on your side.

Ditto the  :D
