Domer, I have read newspapers since I was 7-8 years old. Was surprised and puzzled back then at the Letters to the Editors from "conservatives". Found the Internetz in the early 90s, and of course the political chat rooms and forums and flame wars.

Here's my take on that: My psyche has always gravitated to the side of what I see are the champions of empathy, compassion, embracing of humanity, a more utopian vision of the future.... Democrats, at least in the olden days.

OTOH, my pragmatic side acknowledges that conservatives of yore also had a balance to the (D)s "Dude! We can do anything!" vision. You know, like paying for this crap.

Both sides, back in my youth, loved America.

Now it's 2017. Neither side loves America. RWNJs don't. They want a 1930s Hitlerian return to subservient blacks and women and the continued rule of rich white guys. LWNJs think that we need to tax the wealthy in 1950s Eisenhower fashion.... 90% of income. Oh, and banish all discussion about being mean to other ppl because that's unPC and put all transgressors in prison.

Remember the Silent Majority thing back in the Nixon days? We're still here. The Occupy movement knew that, so did the Tea Party.

Shit is gonna happen when we get together. The Establishment is doing every thing it can to keep us apart.

It's pretty obvious his opinon is worthless on the issue, because we already know where he stands talking like he does. People wouldn't want to hear Nazi opinions, of a Jewish persons accusations, so why would they want Posts, on this issue?
