For Desh

She wants to privatize SS, end the dept of education and its not her job to help the people of nevada attract jobs.

She wants to privatize SS,
that's not crazy at all, especially since the feds have mismanaged that unconstitutional program from the onset.

end the dept of education
where does the federal government get constitutional authority to oversee education in the states?

and its not her job to help the people of nevada attract jobs.

it's not. that would be the partial job of the nevada STATE legislature, not the federal government.

so far, you're batting 0.000.

and your problem with her is?

For starters.

"Speaking of repulsive races -- kudos to Sharron Angle. Somehow, despite making ads so racist your own Latino outreach director disavowed them, hiding from the media, telling rape victims that they should be forced to carrying their attackers' babies (even if that attacker was, say, your dad and you are 13 or 14 years old), making fun of the autistic, and stating that government assistance like Medicare and Unemployment are unconstitutional despite the fact that you yourself are on government healthcare, you managed to raise more money than any other candidate in the country, and you are currently leading the senate majority leader by three percent. There are no words."

Again.... with how the two parties have created safe districts, there are only so many seats one party can win. After MASSIVE gains, it is not a sign of displeasure to give up 4 seats in the House two years later. Especially when you GAIN three seats in the Senate. To pretend otherwise is simply absurd.

Displeasure is what was shown in 2006, 2008 and again today, when one party has MASSIVE losses. 4 seats out of 435 is not much of a shift.

Sure it is a sign of displeasure.

If Republicans had followed through on their pledges to reform Congress instead of going right back to business as usual, they could conceivably have picked up EVEN MORE seats during the midterms.

Their loss of 4 seats showed displeasure coming from voters who bought into the whole "contract with America" nonsense.

You truly are desperate to pretend that. If the public was displeased with the Reps, they would have lost control of one of the Houses rather than increasing seats in the Senate and maintaining a large majority in the House.

Displeasure in a party is what we saw last Tuesday when the Dems lost 6 Senate seats and at least 63 House seats. THAT is displeasure.
