and the tragedy is that the construct is one made by whites. It's called institutionalized racism. Jim Crow didn't disappear.....it transformed. Whites fled to the suburbs and took their tax dollars with them, leaving the inner cities, "full of blacks", to "fend" for themselves, jobless, or stuck in dead end jobs,..…and, "insult to injury", continue to defund social programs and education, while claiming that the plight of blacks is their own fault.
Ever since my first bout with racism, when a white cowboy called me over, for no apparent reason, other than to fuck with me, as I was riding a horse, age 8, at Almeda Stables in Houston, and my now famous cousin rescued me without a word, to my attending an integrated Episcopal boys choir school, in Chicago, where any notion of racism evaporated by the generosity and Christian love generated by the faculty and fellow white students of the school and who remain life-long friends to this very day.....I know and understand the difference between good and evil in people.
Blacks are poor, percentage-wise, 'mainly" because some whites set it up that way. Make no mistake.

Unmitigated bullcrap.

The inner city was generally white working class neighborhoods, until civil planners decided it would be a good idea to build high-rise welfare housing smack dab in the middle. White people were victimized on the streets, in the schools, and in their own homes. To add insult to injury, they were handed the tax bill to subsidize their own misery.

I know the only white people you like are the victims, but not all of us are willing to suffer for your happiness.

Yes, like I said, for you it's all "the white man's" fault- The black man is the perpetual victim. Whites moved to the suburbs- Funny. So "blacks" had to "fend" for themselves? If they had no whites to compete for city jobs because whites abandoned them, why did they not fill the vacuum? Chicago; Detroit; Philadelphia; New York City- No tax dollars to support these cities? Detroit's politicians raped the auto industry and tax payers into oblivion...who wouldn't take their money and run fast! What do these inner cities typically have in common apart from their poverty? How about democrats running them!

Education is OVER funded. Taxes are too high as it is- a man has the right to the fruits of his labor. Small government would help the black man, would help all poor men. Letting people keep what they earn encourages them to be innovative and take risks. Squeeze him for all you can get and he will re-treat. Creating the straw-man that whites, especially conservative whites don't see a need for some social programs is a lie.

So you do see the black man as the victim of the white man-as you so clearly stated. It's just not a true story any longer- He is now the perpetual victim of his own bad habits and choices. Get off the fucking cross it's winter and we could use the wood.

And yes, whites moved to the suburbs, thus removing their tax benefits to the community. And who the fuck do you think was doing the hiring of city jobs???? Wasn't any black folks.
