Ohio – Authorities on Sunday released "heartbreaking" video of the fatal shooting of Black motorist Jayland Walker in a hail of bullets minutes after Akron police say he fled a traffic stop last week.

Mylett said the medical examiner found about 60 wounds on Walker's body, although the exact number of shots fired has not been determined.

The chief said that when the shooting stopped the officers immediately attempted to provide care to Walker, but that he died at the scene. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is conducting the investigation at the request of Akron police.

“This wasn't self-defense, it wasn't an accident in the heat of the moment, it was murder. Point blank," Johnson said. "This Black man was killed – struck more than 60 times by 90 fired bullets – for a possible traffic violation. This doesn't happen to white people in America."

The Dem media left out the part where officers found a spent cartridge and a firearm in his car.

you left out a part

Walker apparently exits the car in a ski mask, and Police Chief Stephen Mylett said it appeared that Walker reached toward his waist during a foot chase and briefly turned toward officers. They opened fire.

Let's see.

This dude was flashed to pull over by police for a routine traffic stop.
He decided to flee instead.
The cops chased him at high speed and more showed up as it went.
The cops say there were shots fired at them during the chase
The police finally get him to stop
He opens the passenger door, and tries to flee
As he does so, one officer sees him move his hand towards his waistband and then up as if getting a gun to fire at them
The officers have tried tasers at this point already
The officer seeing that move opens fire.
The other seven officers present open fire.
Dude gets shot like 60 times (good aim on the cops part hum?)-- an average of 7.5 rounds per cop.
He goes down.
The police call for an ambulance
The police cuff him because that's normal procedure
The perp dies.
The police find a handgun and spent cartridge(s) on the front seat of the car.

Seems to me this asshole brought this copocolipse on himself.

Mike Lawlor, associate criminal justice professor at the University of New Haven, says the video raises more questions than answers.

"So if this started out as clear equipment violation, which usually means like a defective tail light or there's not a light on the license plate, something like that, that would never justify a pursuit in almost any part of the country," he said. "The question about whether anyone gets charged with a crime is: did they reasonably believe someone's life is in danger at that point?"

"Those are the kinds of things that make this seem like a classic example of a pursuit that wasn't necessary, a use of deadly force that wasn't necessary," he said.

That's total ignorance of the sort I'd expect from a liar... err, lawyer. After all, most lawyers are retards. The guy didn't stop after being flashed. That's 100% clear. Instead, he chose to flee. That's when the shit storm of coppery came down on this POS moron.

Why did the perp choose to be THE FIRST to use DEADLY force against the police? Gun found on front seat with spent casings in car. Cops saying he shot at them during chase. Evidence " gun / spent casings" suggest cops being truthful. Its a very simple thing......If you dont want cops to shoot you to death,....dont be an ignoramus and shoot at them first. You will lose every time.

Simple lesson here. In the vast majority of these sad cases, when people comply with the officers request, they are still alive. Until this is understood, these stories will be repeated.

He was unarmed.

He was unarmed.

When he fled the vehicle. But note that the officer that fired first said he reached for something in his waistband of his pants and brought his arm up, even as the officers failed to tase him. The police also claim he fired on them during the chase and they did find a handgun and spent cartridge(s) in the car.
