Food Inflation Hits Highs Not Seen Since 1979

I saw a pretty interesting piece the other day by someone who took at two year old grocery store recipe and checked how much the same stuff would be today. I cant remember the result but that it was well north of the official inflation numbers even before accounting for shrinkflation.

How could you know this if you can't remember what you read?

Are you a drunk?

I just woke up, and am working on my first coffee (Chocolate milk is the creamer today).

I dont have the best brain, to make do I must pick what I try to remember, there is not room for everything. The exact number I did not care about here but I did decide that this is a very sound way to check for ourselves what grocery story inflation looks like, and that the government numbers coming in low balled did not surprise me at all. I also put this into context of all of the stories I have seen of people who dont believe the official numbers after the experience of their lives, how people who dont run tests like this believe that they are seeing significantly worse inflation than what the government claims.

Right, but manufacturing the product doesn't make you any money, it only costs you money.

Selling the product is what makes you money.

Manufacturing is a cost, not a revenue stream.

Except, of course, we are talking about growing an economy. Spending doesn't grow it- creating stuff that others want to buy does.

Would you ever be expected to either tell or admit the truth, sweetheart.

Ah, excuses...the thing I always end up getting from people like you.

So you stridently think something is true, only you can't remember what it is you think is true.

That's why I asked if you're a drunk.

SPENDING is the ONLY THING that grows an economy.

Manufacturing does not because it's all cost on a P&L.

You don't know what you're talking about and you're doing more damage to your cause every time you open your big, fat, stupid mouth.

Feel free to move along.

They are trying real hard to ignore the actual news of this day

You keep repeating the same shit. :rofl2:

"Its not my fault that you're functionally illiterate."

See, you just can't stop yourself from stealing my posts.

I think my posts get under your skin so deeply, that the only recourse your tiny mind can think of is to just take what I wrote and repeat it back to me.

How about you come up with your own lines instead of stealing from others?
