Food Inflation Hits Highs Not Seen Since 1979

Just read the headline: a sore spot for the economy

Right...YOU RAN YOUR BIG MOUTH and said that "manufacturing grows an economy", not spending, and then when you're given evidence of a manufacturing recession inside a growing economy, you just throw up your hands and hope that people won't judge the fact that your entire argument relies on innuendo.

Selling products that have been made. Without the product there wouldn't be a purchase.

But making the product doesn't grow GDP; selling it does.

There's a reason why supply side economics have failed the last 40 years...because it's bullshit.

But you said the election was stolen, so how else can you fix that?

Since Democrats have figured out how to steal elections, there isn't any way to fix it. As I said earlier, I'm going to watch the show. It's only a matter of time before it implodes on them.

Without a product made there is no sale.

I should really be charging tuition for all the free Econ 101 lessons I'm giving you.

Seems like you opened your big, fat mouth and put your tiny foot into it.

That's why you shifted your argument from "the 2020 election was stolen" to "all elections are stolen".

So you retroactively came up with an excuse for why you hid behind JPP's skirt all day on 1/6, even though you had been saying the election was stolen.

I guess you just don't really believe anything you say.

This is an excellent example of your dishonesty.

It's what you said when you made the excuse for not going to DC on 1/6 despite running your big mouth about a stolen election for two months before.

You must not believe anything you say if you're not willing to stand behind it when it matters.

So disappointment is all that you bring to the table.

I know how it works and I told you how it works, and I even gave you the text from the bill so you could read it yourself.

So the excuse seems to be that you can't be expected to read anything, and you need a mommy or daddy to read things to you because reading is too hard for you.

Isn't that true?
But it's going actually do the opposite of what Biden is claiming...and you've not given proof otherwise...I don't see proof of it lowering health care cost, utility bills, child care, prescription drug costs, etc...We're used to Democrats claiming things that just don't happen....especially to regular people...If you know otherwise, then fill me in...convince me it's going to help...it's going to work...

Hold on...hold on a second...we haven't fully addressed the fact that you have nothing but excuses for why you can't read a bill you're criticizing.

I have no idea why you need someone to read you a bill that you can read yourself; it just seems like you're having an outburst and acting in bad faith because you don't know what else to do here.

You're not clever enough to talk your way out of it, and you're not smart enough to think your way out of it.

So on a P&L, is manufacturing a cost item or a revenue item?

Both reflect economic activity. Company A delivers raw material to Company B; Company B turns the material into products to sell. The production of the raw material and the manufacture of the product are both positive economic activity.

Again you are being dishonest; big surprise. :rofl2:

What a stupid comment. Thanks, Prof. Obvious.

So why would productivity be down? Lack of workers? Lack of materials due to supply chain disruption? Is it global, or just in the U.S. and therefore magically Biden's fault?

Answer: Global

War slows recovery

"Global growth is projected to slow from an estimated 6.1 percent in 2021 to 3.6 percent in 2022 and 2023. This is 0.8 and 0.2 percentage points lower for 2022 and 2023 than projected in January.

"Beyond 2023, global growth is forecast to decline to about 3.3 percent over the medium term. War-induced commodity price increases and broadening price pressures have led to 2022 inflation projections of 5.7 percent in advanced economies and 8.7 percent in emerging market and developing economies—1.8 and 2.8 percentage points higher than projected last January. Multilateral efforts to respond to the humanitarian crisis, prevent further economic fragmentation, maintain global liquidity, manage debt distress, tackle climate change, and end the pandemic are essential."

I realize that providing you this information is like putting pearls on a pig, but it's worth a try. There's a possibility that one of you MAGAtards might read it and learn something. Unlikely, but hope never dies. lol
