So, let's say for sake of argument, a couple of men break into a home where a single woman or two women live or are at home alone at the moment. The men (the criminals breaking in) tie up and begin to rape the women. By this retard's advice, they should just meekly comply...

The Castle Doctrine only exists in most US states, and does not exist in any other country. In the rest of the world, including Canada, you have an obligation to retreat before claiming self defense. So arguing that the Canadians are not following the Castle Doctrine is sort of crazy.
