Woodcock continued: “The temperature of the earth has been going up and down for millions of years, if there are extremes, it’s nothing to do with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, it’s not permanent and it’s not caused by us. Global warming is nonsense.” “If you talk to real scientists who have no political interest, they will tell you there is nothing in global warming. It’s an industry which creates vast amounts of money for some people.
“The reason records seem to be being frequently broken is simply because we only started keeping them about 100 years ago. There will always be some record broken somewhere when we have another natural fluctuation in weather. “Its absolutely stupid to blame floods on climate change. “This is not the way science works. If you tell me that you have a theory there is a teapot in orbit between the earth and the moon, its not up to me to prove it does not exist, its up to you to provide the reproducible scientific evidence for your theory. Such evidence for the man-made climate change theory has not been forthcoming.”

Leslie V. Woodcock never worked in the USA, much less for NASA. He did get a grant from the US Air Force, but was not in the US Air Force either. Maybe at some point he got a grant from NASA, but that does not make him a "NASA scientist".
He studied Chemical Thermodynamics, not climate science.
Back to the US Air Force grant. I cannot find out what it was about, but there does seem to be a complaint placed by the US Air Force. It was settled by Woodcock losing his tenure, and pension. Woodcock is 77 years old, and working as an adjunct professor at University of Algarve in Portugal. It is a somewhat accredited university, whose school motto is "Study Where Life Is Good."
Reading between the lines: he was doing classified work on either jet engines or rockets. The work he did was not academically sound(lying about results, plagiarizing, etc.). They punished him by taking away a pension earned over a lifetime (a huge move). Now he is stuck teaching bored rich kids a little physics just to pay the bills.
