LMAO...this thread is classic. Not unlike Darth's '61' thread.Florida now has more active cases than any other state in the country, and it isn't close. Florida is at about 367,000 active cases, California is next with 305,000. Given that California's population is much larger than Florida's, the difference is even more stark. The next nearest state is Texas, with less than half the active cases of Florida. Georgia, our neighbor to the north, is now fifth in the nation in active cases, despits a much smaller population than the four states above it. Anyone who suggests this is anything other than a public health disaster is dishonest and stupid.
Gotta steal this.

‘Flori-duh,’ DeSantis in national spotlight for bungling pandemic
Florida — long a national running joke since the 2000 presidential election debacle — took hit after hit on Sunday in the national media for the handling of the coronavirus that made it the new epicenter of the pandemic.
Most of the news reports focused on how Florida on Saturday usurped New York in the number of coronavirus cases and now only trails California, a far more more populous state with nearly twice the population.
Gov. Ron DeSantis was also the subject of the Washington Post piece that detailed how he ignored scientists and followed President Trump’s denials of the severity of the outbreak. The bad news for the governor followed the cancellation of the Republican National Convention that he had lobbied to come to Florida.
Then there was the sad story of a 9-year-old who succumbed to COVID-19 even though she had no underlying health issues — negating DeSantis well-worn refrain that children don’t get seriously ill.

We'll see after the autopsy. No person (especially a child) dies of Covid without a severely weakened or damaged immune system. It doesn't have to be obvious on the outside.
More than likely, something undiagnosed so far at that young age. But, SOMETHING caused her to be compromised and unable to fight it off like other normal kids.
Her cousin (not a parent) said she was healthy, suddenly spikes a fever, they take her to the hospital, she's checked and sent home. {sent home? that fast? with Covid?}
She gets home and collapses. Sounds like something else was going on as well.
There was an 11-yr old boy who died as well a couple weeks ago. It was disclosed that he did have an underlying issue.
yeah sure, you believe that.He would be alive if he did not get Corona. There are lots of kids who died from Corona.

That's all that Trump supporters have to work with.Deny, deflect, and distract.
186 deaths reported in the last day. The most in a single day in Florida. Wow, did DeSantis nail this one.
As long as it gets Nomad, Floridafan, and a few other left wingers on this forum that live there, it's all good.
How can you be sick enough to post something like this, what a shit head.
