Fleeing from Health Care

Preventative care vastly reduces the cost of healthcare.

There are people in this country who want the population sick so they can make a boat load of money.

Then there are idiots who vote to help these entities make more money off of the sick and dying.

It's not a matter of trusting just the Democratic Party. The current bill is only a start. Both parties can and should get involved in devising a universal medical plan but that's difficult when one party doesn't agree with the basic concept.

How can two parties negotiate the details of something when one is opposed to the basic idea? That's why the bill was rammed through. There was no point in discussing details when one party was not even interested in the concept.

But above and beyond all that we have seen almost every country adopt some form of a medical plan. While none are perfect there isn't one country considering dismantling their plan.

Many countries have had plans in operation for 40 or 50 years, some even longer. While we hear complaints the fact is every country with a medical plan spends less per capita than the US. and the citizens insist on keeping their respective plans.

There isn't anything to suggest a universal plan would not work for the US. There isn't one example anyone can point to. It's truly mind boggling to hear the opposition because if any other "program" or plan had been implemented by dozens of countries and shown to be endorsed by the vast majority of their citizens and it saved money there wouldn't be any appreciable opposition.

Should the government provide a basic level of clothing to each person? And then there is housing. Should a wralthy and civilized society like the U.S. have any homeless? Should a basic level of housing be provided to each person?

It takes from me, leaving me with less money and healthcare.

The dems didn't need any input from the reps at all. They had a total majority, and came up with something that has offended a majority of voters. As much as I don't like the reps, they were smart enough to listen to me and a majority of voters. The dems didn't. At all! For the first time in my life, the reps have no fault at all in a piece of legislation. That being healthcare. No matter what you and others try to say.

It's so bad that independent people like me, and republican voters, or dead set on making the dem party a third party, and hopefully just a name in the history books in the near future.

Never before has so many been so committed with their time and money to hold these people accountable. If you like the democratic party, you should be upset that they waisted this oppertunity, all just to own our bodies. They're slave owners, and Obama represents the slave master. I call it the Obama plantation, and I'll send every bit of money, and spend all the time I can to not only get rid of this, but also to push my representatives to have congressional investigations on the whole matter. Views no different than millions of others here in the USA. It will take getting rid of most of the dems, and a lot of the reps, but many are committed, and view it as a matter of life and death. We'll see just how many people like me there are Nov, 2nd.

Defend it all you want, but it's head is on the chopping block.:)
