Five dead Saturday, seven yesterday, a dozen this week, and week ain’t over yet

Can’t be said enough, mass shootings of innocent people has become as American as a parade on July 4th, happens so often Americans have become desensitized, now even to school shootings

And the right’ solution is more guns needed, and easier access to more guns

Two nutjobs and the Werther Effect apply here.

The Walmart shooter committed suicide as most mass shooters of this type so often do. Would the Colorado shooter have done the same had he not been stopped?

Who here believes either of these two idiots are mentally healthy?

Few, but these nut jobs and all the others certainly had no problem acquiring the weapon they needed, so many guns out there, more coming every day, and easy access to all of them

Over six-hundred mass shootings already this year.

Either get a gun and join in or get rid of public guns.

Their mental health means nothing to the dead victims and the families they left behind.

Obtaining guns should be an involved, drawn out and relatively complicated process.

Both guns and ammunition should be made prohibitively expensive, with most of the cost increase consisting of federal taxes that would go directly into a fund to pay for the costs to society of their misuse and abuse.

Americans are becoming an increasingly ignorant, short-sighted society that is getting exactly what it asks for.

I mean. It's the fucking guns! Australia got rid of the guns. New Zealand did. The UK did. Guess what? No more mass shootings.

Not to be redundant, but it's the guns.

But, but, but, my “freedom,” getting to the point were the opening inalienable rights in the Declaration of Independence outweigh any the Second Amendment supposedly conveys

Awesome. Keep focusing on banning and restricting guns, on authoritarian control. Ignore mental health, just like Democrats have done for the past 30 years.

Do you ever wonder why 70% of American voters aren't Democrats, Nomad?

A second vote for authoritarian control of the US by Democrats. Their motto is "We know what's best for you!"

Colorado had red flag laws and those laws weren't enforced. Why?

Yep, anyone who disagrees with your stance on guns is an "authoritarian". Someone better tell those commonwealth countries I just listed. They'll be shocked :)

They're all walking around happy, going to the beach and stuff and they think they're all western democracies :)

You're on a tear today, Dutch. Did you forget to start defrosting the bird?

the lefts solution of ensuring victimhood and defenselessness of law abiding citizens is worse.

why don't we start with voter IDs and literacy test certificates to vote first and then we'll go from there.

The Constitution is meant to restrict government, not restrict the people. read it with that guiding principle in mind and it might make more sense to you.

Really? Tell that to the over forty thousand Americans killed annually by guns

As I said, seems the inalienable rights in the Declaration weigh more than the ever revising opinions of what others think the Constitution says

Heard that one before, if the Founding Fathers were so afraid of a strong central government why did they establish one? Why didn’t they just continue with the Articles of Confederation?

Poor anchovies, prolly time for you to consider Canada. Their leader is a whacked out as ours.
