First We Cut the Throats of the Jews, Then the Gays and Finally the Christians

Complex problems require complex solutions. Mass deportation, whether it is from here, or it is from Europe, is similar to doing brain surgery with a rusty scimitar. In my view, the major problem with Islam is that it has not had a modern reform movement to lead it out of the dark ages. Christians have gotten most of the way (although they still love to kill each other if the time is right) but Islam is still led by fundamentalists. Add to that problem the fact that Europeans and Israel have treated the Middle East like a playground, and have failed to recognize the long term impact of that colonialist approach; that being the radicalization of many Muslims. The west (and I include Israel in this) has tended to address this problem as a black and white problem, because we don't want to acknowledge OUR role in what has happened there. Instead, we are the good guys, Muslims are the bad guys, end of story.

I don't pretend to have the all the answers, but I can absolutely guarantee that mass deportation, callous disregard for Muslim civilians, and our utter lack of respect for the Islamic culture will only make things far worse than they are now. Yes a more subtle approach won't have the same visceral satisfaction for the ignorant, hateful right as 'wiping them off the face of the earth' but it is necessary if we ever hope to see a stable region.

it's not a complex problem.

it's simple.

enforce the border and deport transgressors.

why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

Earl, I may not be able to see your posts, but your little groans are just ADORABLE.

You see them.

"Aren't you flattered that the Grand Architect of EVERYTHING is going to take time out from his busy day to review your JPP posts and decide whether you are worthy? That's pretty cool when you think about it. Earl is probably more comfortable than you are."

Now, take a hike, pendejo.

I'm curious, is the Obama phone like the bat phone? If you pick it up, do you immediately get Barack on the other end? Is there an Obamamobile? What is his secret disguise?

Fake ignore is always amusing..
If they're telling you that they're ignoring you of course they aren't or they would be ignoring you ..lol

Just keep on responding to Earl you are proving him correct. Now get cleaned up before you make your french fry deliveries. People don't like you making Uber Eats deliveries smelling of booze and urine.

If God exists then theists will enjoy eternal bliss, while atheists will suffer eternal damnation. If God does not exist then theists will enjoy finite happiness before they die and atheists will enjoy finite happiness too, though not so much because they will experience angst rather than the comforts of religion. Regardless of whether God exists, then, theists have it better than atheists; hence belief in God is the most rational belief to have.

Indeed!

The left LOVES the NAZI loving islamoradicals of the M E. They have so much in common.

Indeed, Stone.

The rest:

"... inside a hospital, surround the hospital with the sick, the wounded, the refugees, and the dead, have Al-Jazeera shout all day and night, NYT question humanity, Greta invoke climate change, and Tlaib raise hell across America, Deif and Sinwar will not get away. Israel will get them.
That’s just my impression."

That would be a very mean God. Universalists believe in a God that would not do such a thing.

Pascal's wager falls apart when you realize God knows what is in your heart. If you are only trying to fool God by saying you believe in him, it will not go well. You either have faith, or you do not.

God has given you atheists every opportunity to acknowledge him, Walter.

Pascal was right. I believe...it's you atheists who will suffer. Dante's Ninth Circle of Hell.

Poor Walter.

Then you should LOVE it.

If you like Pascal’s Wager so much, why don’t you idiots try applying it to climate change. It’s more appropriate than you think.

Like Pascal’s god, climate change either is or is not. Correct?

In terms of Pascal’s Wager, thinking there is a problem (global warming) when there isn’t, the consequences aren’t so bad.
Thinking there isn’t a problem, when there really is, the consequences are catastrophic.

The main difference is that there is no evidence whatsoever of Pascal’s god. Just a belief. However, there is considerable evidence that anthropogenic climate change is real.
