First night of RNC convention is a PREDICTABLE !!!

Herschel Walker is so naive.

How can he not see what's going on?

It is YOU who are naïve and lacking intelligence. Herschel GETS it. Something you're incapable of. ;)

"This wasn’t supposed to happen.

During this week’s Democratic National Convention, which was supposed to launch Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's ticket into the fall election with good feelings and high poll numbers, President Trump’s approval rating surged.

The Rasmussen Reports daily average for Trump, which is spread over three days, hit 51% this week — and has stayed there.

On the first day of the Democratic National Convention, Trump's approval rating was 47%."

After the gloom and doom Democratic Convention, no wonder that President Trump had a big bump.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

She's just doing the same political partisanship the Democrats did last week. I like Nikki but consider her a staunch Republican, not a staunch Trumpeteer.

I did not hear one statement from any elected Democrat or candidate at the DNC which was a lie.

The RNC has been full of them already.

Such as this baloney about trying to paint Biden as a socialist.

When has Joe Biden ever said that he wants to turn the USA socialist?

Somebody please provide the quote.

You can't do it.

When one side is out there lying, and all the other side has to do is quote the liars to make them look bad, then voters would be fools to vote for the liars.

They're just making things up about Democrats.

Right out of thin air.

Total BS.

Don't fall for it.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

We had a ban on fully automatic weapons. It was not successfully challenged as unconstitutional.

While the ban was in place we had fewer mass shootings, and the ones we had were not as lethal.

We let it expire and ever since then we have had more innocent deaths.

Translation: Yes, it's a gun ban....and it won't be the last.

I know. :D

Seriously dude? Do you consider twisting the truth or spinning the truth a lie? Yes or no please. If yes, then you know your post isn't true. If no, then I strongly disagree. Spin or twisting the truth both lie by omission. Lying by omission is still a lie.

https://definitions.uslegal.com/l/lie-by-omission/
A lie of omission is an intentional failure to tell the truth in a situation requiring disclosure. An example could be a seller's failure to note a known defect on a real estate disclosure form.

https://www.thecut.com/2016/12/lying-by-omission-isnt-any-more-honest-than-plain-old-lying.html
In a study recently published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, a team of researchers investigated a form of dishonesty known as “paltering,” or using truth as misdirection — a strategy made famous by one Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Consider this exchange the researchers offer up as an example of what paltering looks like, between Clinton and PBS NewsHour’s Jim Lehrer in 1991:

Lehrer: “No improper relationship” – define what you mean by that.
Clinton: Well, I think you know what it means. It means that there is not a
sexual relationship, an improper sexual relationship, or any other kind of improper relationship.
Lehrer: You had no sexual relationship with this young woman?
Clinton: There is not a sexual relationship – that is accurate.

The key to paltering, the study authors note, is that it doesn’t actually involve any untrue statements — at the time Clinton uttered the words, the relationship in question was over. “There is not,” then, is technically accurate, but intentionally worded in a way that ignores the context of the question and obscures the greater truth.

Past research has shown that people are more willing to lie by omission than they are to tell an outright falsehood, and over a series of six experiments, the researchers found that paltering is no different — to the teller, it feels more ethical, like something between the truth and a total lie. (They also found that it’s incredibly common: In one survey administered to Harvard business students, roughly half admitted that they had previously used paltering as a negotiation strategy.)

The problem is, those on the receiving end don’t feel the same way: Across the various experiments, people who learned that their conversation partner had paltered to them said they considered the move to be just as ethically rotten as telling a bald-faced lie. “A palterer may focus on the veracity of her statements, whereas a target may focus on the mistaken impression that was conveyed,” the authors wrote. “As a result, palterers may perceive their behavior to be moral even as targets perceive palterers to be dishonest and immoral.” In other words, telling some highly literal, incomplete version of the truth may ease your guilty conscience, but it won’t help your case if you’re caught in the act.

The Democrats did not mention the riots, looting, burning, assaults and murders in their Democrat controlled cities.

The Republicans did and will continue to do so.

Great contrast, law and order Republicans and riots in Democrat controlled cities that Democrats refuse to stop.

Oh. So now you believe in government and laws.

Matt Gaetz said if Joe Biden is elected they will take away your guns, you will be locked in your home, and MS-13 will be moving in next door.

Does anybody really believe this nonsense?

you don't really think the demmycrats have any intent to stop them, do you?......

Oh. So now you believe in government and laws.

Local governments control the safety of the citizens in their cities, Snowflake.

Democrats have demonstrated that the riots will not be stopped in the cities that they control.

What makes you believe that I haven’t always supported law and order, Snowflake?

It’s the basis of civilization and Democrats are allowing....aiding and abetting...the breakdown of civilization in their cities.

Nice big post, lots of references, but not one single example of a lie told by an elected Democrat or Candidate at the DNC.

The RNC has already been full of them.

"Democrats want to destroy the suburbs."

Can you believe this nonsense?

Well of course you can't. It's a lie. There is no quote of any Democrat saying they want to destroy the suburbs. Not one!

It's outrageous. And it is so ridiculous I just can't imagine anybody in their right mind who really believes such BS.

Why would a major political party campaign to destroy the suburbs? It makes no sense. What possible purpose? It's so off the wall only a fool would believe such nonsense.

The policy will destroy the suburbs. It is a nonsensical argument to say "find me an exact quote of a democrat saying that" and then claiming victory. It is like saying "democrats don't want to ban guns" when in fact EVERY policy they put forth has he effect of banning guns. They just know they can't say it

I have no problem with Republicans having their convention, making public what policy they would like to pursue, why they think it is better than Democratic proposals. But they are making a farce of party business and instead launching into fantasy land where all their worst imaginations about Democrats can be voiced, none of it true.

The Dems talked about things that really exist. Verifiable quotes of Republicans.

They don't need to make up that Trump said 15 cases going to zero, or that 'it would go away in the warm weather.

Hey, remember the two weeks that were going to be the worst weeks? And then it was going to all get better and miraculously go away?

Democrats don't have to make this stuff up. You can't make this stuff up. Republicans make it up and SAY IT. Truth doesn't matter to them.

The left trying to pretend that the pre-taped crappy commercial the Dems provided was good... LOL.

Are you actually going to try to compare last week Democratic Convention to this?

Taped, Live ... whatever ...

No ... really are you actually seeing the same production everyone else is?

Even FOX sees the Truth ... why won’t you?
