First Ladies getting partisan on campaign trail

I heard some of Michelle Obama's speech today and she got pretty partisan. I was trying to think back did Laura bush attack Obama in 2008? Did Hillary attack George W in 2000? Did Nancy Reagan attack Dukakis in 1988?
 
And yes, the irony was rich hearing her say a man who disrespects women should not be president.

Barbara Bush attacked Al Gore, Geraldine Ferraro and got a little catty about Palin also.

The First Lady is the wife of the head of their respective party. Get it? It's partisan. That, and the fact that the opposing party has chosen to nominate a guy with the policy knowledge, the temperment and the maturity of a 10 year old. That's YOUR party's choice. Live with it.
