Actually people were much more interested in the statue of a family made out of mufflers by an exhaust place because someone stole it. It was eventually found dumped after a manhunt for the culprit began. I know who he is because I have walked past the stupid thing 1,000 times, not because I inquired. If you look up, it has his name on the base.

It isn't really PC that is driving this. It is the democratic party having nothing else left to keep their base charged up emotionally now that they have virtually no real power. It isn't like Charlottesville, Virginia, suddenly became a liberal town in the last couple years. One of the reasons that congressional district is so huge geographically is to make sure there are enough conservative votes to build a firewall around it

So then petition to have it removed. Point is I don't give a fuck if your town has a statue of the mayor, of Adolf Hitler or Bill Clinton getting serviced by Monica. Point is I don't live there you do. You have a say in what statues should or shouldn't be put up in your town. I don't.

That statue was put up well before I was born and why would I want it removed? I pay taxes and my dumbass city would use the removal of the statue as a pretext to renovate the entire building. It is cheaper to leave it there.

Then what the fuck are you arguing. I DON'T CARE if the statue is up or down. It isn't my business if you like the statue fine. If you don't like it petition to have it torn down. If you don't care then fine. My point is I don't have a say in it one way or another because I don't fucking live there.

Left Pc, right PC kind of all the same. Take down the confederate flag is about the same as make it a crime to burn the American flag as far as I am concerned. Both sides have their control agendas.

I am not arguing anything, potty-mouth. Most people don't care one way or the other. Don't care about the MLK bridge and don't care about the confederate monuments. Don't care if people get upset about President McK. I just enjoy the theater.
