Two major clinical trials of HCQ for Covid-19, one in the US and one in the UK, were stopped last June when the results showed that HCQ had no effect on mortality.

The UK trial, run by the University of Oxford, enrolled more than 11,000 patients.
"We have concluded that there is no beneficial effect of hydroxychloroquine in patients hospitalized with COVID-19," the Oxford study said.

doctors have you stay on hcq for 4-6 months before moving on to a more aggressive form of treatment - because it doesn't have immediate benefits, but it does show as beneficial in relation to inflammation and also to to cytokine storms when used for long periods. Those are the studies many scientists are interested in seeing conducted in regards to covid-19

too many people go down your road of politicizing it and making this be about trump. shit stains everywhere

immune compromised people are inexplicably doing better then groups with less serious health issues - like obesity - that is a strange stat that should be explored
