fired for not joinimg the bible club

Yes, you can legally be fired for attending a political rally

The topic came up after a Mojo Burrito employee was fired for attending the recent white nationalist gathering in Charlottesville, Virginia. At least one other person from Berkeley, California, has also been fired, according to MarketWatch.

Answer your ? Cock sucker, but u have no problem with someone being fired for attending this type of rally on their own time

You got it 180 degrees backwards. He asked about NOT attending a political rally.

Illiterate

The damned have always been fake news fags/ false witnesses. they currently are doing their damned jobs, and will be forever fake news fags ( except they repent and correct their testimonies). False witnesses/ fake news fags/ fake Jews crucified Christ and continue in Luciferian delusion. The proponents of this thread are in these deeds, the damned of Earth. See how simple this is ?

ah but he wasn't forced to take part in religion.....the employer hired addicts and required them to meet weekly to help them deal with it.......poor child couldn't deal with it and now he wants money he didn't work for so he can afford to feed his addiction......

Even the owner's attorney called it "bible study."

"Hickam told The Oregonian that the Bible studies were required. But when reached by The Post, Hickam said the sessions were a "weekly, motivational team-building exercise" held at a homeless shelter. Hickam said the sessions were scheduled at the end of an afternoon shift. Employees who attended would be paid for that hour, and employees who did not attend would not be paid.

Asked repeatedly to clarify whether the session was mandatory for employees, Hickam said, "There's a lot of great lessons to be learned from the Bible, and I think it's wonderful he made this opportunity available for his employees."

Why was he actually let go? He was an "on call" employee....who took another job....that being said I do think he was headed in the right direction...

Nothing in the story says he was an "on call" employee and he took another job because he was fired from Dahled UP.

Nothing in your story...we shall see....you might be correct...or not;)

If you found something different by all means post it. I'll go with Coleman here: Coleman told The Post that after first being hired by Dahled Up Construction in October 2017, he woke up excited every morning to work with his painting crew.

"It's tough to find a job like that," he said.

One word of Christian religion, one prayer in the meeting and it infringed on his freedom from religion.

Freedom of (and from) religion in the 1st Amendment restricts government actions. Since this case involves no government action it would fall under federal or state laws like civil rights or RFRA.

I guess we'll just wait and see...You may be correct... I'm Happy that he was turning his life around until someone talked him into filing a suite....

obviously they made a mistake in hiring an addict and thinking he would turn out to be a responsible employee......

My guess is that Toxic's "facts" were gleaned from one of her favored RWNJ blogs that would of course fly to the rescue to defend the employer and vilify the fired guy. She loves Breitbart, for one.

Yes. Most likely the federal civil rights act, as others have pointed out.
