On Wednesday April 10th, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted what appears to have been an orchestrated raid in Massachusetts, taking into ICE custody a number of Irish immigrants.

Irish Pastoral Centre Chaplain Fr. John McCarthy and IPC pro bono attorney Chris Lavery in Boston are providing ongoing assistance to those in need of help and support.

IrishCentral has spoken to the wife of one of those arrested, a Co. Clare construction worker who has been in the U.S for 12 years.

Funny. They didn't check in on Obama's Aunt Zeituni who lives illegally in Boston. Oh yeah, she got an exemption.

And this took place five days before the Boston Marathon bombing. Too bad nobody followed up on the warnings from Russia and Saudi Arabia about the Tsarnaev brothers.

Too busy rounding up them Irish boys.
 
I'm Irish and I support this. It doesnt matter to me what nationality someone is, I think the law should be applied equally.

And many yrs ago I used to date one of these illegal Irish construction workers, in NYC. He was hot, and fun, and told me some really sad stuff about the Catholic/Protestant conflicts in Ireland. Stories much like you hear coming out of Palestinians in Israel.

I also dated an Irish private school teacher over here legally. Them boys can party! Both had opposite perspectives on the Troubles. Was really interesting.

But I digress (but I am smiling).
