Ahh but I do. In my life time all POTUS administrations have wielded US power, including Obama, in an imperious manner that has caused major concern and resentment around the world though no US President did so to the degree that George W. Bush and his unilateralist policies did. I very much have a clue. We're talking a matter of degree. Obama was far less disliked than his predecessor who was loathed internationally. We're talking a matter of degree here. Relative to W, Obama was very well liked abroad but you're fooling yourself if you don't believe that many nations still resented the US overbearing foreign policy under Obama.

I absolutely agree with other nations that the US has an overbearing foreign policy .. including Obama. That sentiment is even demonstrated within our own population.

That being said, he was, and is still well-liked abroad .. even more so based on who followed him.

I also think Kennedy, Bush 1, Reagan, and Bill Clinton were liked abroad. Of couse that depends on the region.
