The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Wednesday denied aid to Arizona counties after September flooding.

Maybe because Noem rerouted the funding to pet projects like immigration and there isn't any money left?

Or is it just another "fuck you" to a Democratic governor?

There were n reasons given, just a denial.

Not the first time this year either, BTW.

It's also happened to Arkansas, California, Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia.
Tennessee, and NC still haven't got all the help they were suppose to get from the floods they had and it has been over a year or so.

Trump and the Republicans / MAGAS have gutted FEMA and we were lucky to get through Hurricane season without any really big storms what is going to happen next year?
Will the Red states of the southeast get help if and when they need it?

The flooding in Arizona was localized and relatively minor. In Globe the damage estimate was $30 million. That's a tiny amount compared to most major floods and could be handled by flood insurance.
