Diversity Makes Greatness
Hello Darth,
What a freaking stretch that is.
I have to admire how far out on a limb that argument has to go to twist it around to try to blame others for what Trump supporters did.
Even if any of that is true, and I have no concern that it might be however small and infinitesimal the chances may be, it doesn't remove the culpability of those who stormed the Capitol in that bloody Insurrection on January 6th 2021, a Day Of Infamy.
The argument amounts to: "OK, we did it, but we're going to try to take you down with us."
Good luck with that. Fat chance.
And if that's really the case, a bipartisan created independent 911 style commission would have shown no favoritism in digging up all the facts. So why, on this climate dying Earth, would the Republican Trump cult block that?
I don't expect you to answer that. There is no plausible answer. Please do your best to surprise me?
We know why Republicans blocked the independent investigation.
Republicans don't want the truth to come out and be plastered all over the news while they are trying so desperately to spin the story into a tourist visit.
Republicans want to bury the past so it doesn't haunt them during the next election cycle.
Republicans don't want to be responsible for what they've done.
And how fitting is it that this is post number 61?
No he didn’t and his own words strongly indicate he didn’t. You’re cherry picking from the speech.
The left has wanted their pound of Trump flesh ever since he had the audacity to beat Hillary in 2016. There’s nothing they won’t stoop to in order to get it.
A *real investigation* would look at every facet of 1/6 including who was responsible for security that day. As soon as it becomes apparent there’s no Trump angle to that question Pelosi’s ‘investigation’ will drop that angle like a hot potato.
Another angle that needs investigated is possible involvement of federal informants. Or should I say the degree of involvement because it’s almost impossible that they weren’t.
This is related to the security question because how was it that Christopher Wray wasn’t beating someone’s door down and warning them about what was going to go down on 1/6. Yet, Capitol security that day was as if it was set up for—any other day.
A related angle is more insidious: given the involvement of federal agents *were any of them* involved in its planning? Very recently, it was discovered by investigative journalists that the kidnapping plot of Gov Whitmer involved an ‘inordinate’ number of federal agents; furthermore, they were involved in the planning and execution to such a degree its a mystery how they escaped being charged with entrapment.
Did this sort of thing go on with 1/6? The country needs real answers to all these questions and then we can talk about healing. And they aren’t going to get them from any ‘investigation’ run by Nancy Pelosi.
