Joke cannot unilaterally decide by executive order to forgive any amount of that debt. He needs legislation from Congress authorizing that spending to be forgiven. Without it, what he's doing is illegal. It isn't difficult to understand.

Let’s be clear, this abomination called college loan forgiveness was never forgiveness.

It was a scam which would force taxpayers to pay the loans of college students who signed on the dotted line.

That has to be one of the stupidest rulings ever. It should be tossed on appeal otherwise it will result in the courts being flooded with suits by people that have no standing.
The two people that sued said they were harmed because they didn't receive a benefit others did. If that is the standard this court is willing to set then I can sue because Ted Cruz gets his health care paid for by the government and I don't.
