The anti-Trumper's argument basically rests on a technicality.

Obama didn't wiretap Trump---if you take the hyper literal route, that's true. But Trump could have been wiretapped *under the Obama administration* and if Trump was unmasked during the course of a Manafort wiretapped conversation *under the Obama administration*...

Then, for all intents and purposes, Trump's Tweet was accurate. Or put it this way, accurate enough for anyone who doesn't have an ideological bias against Trump.

So, we have the FBI gathering information from a political campaign. Don't they do that sort of thing in Russia?

Sessions can drag his feet [and is] on re-opening the Hillary investigation, or the Susan Rice investigation, the Wasserman IT investigation and the whole host of other investigations that ought to be occurring, because Trump can't fire Sessions without appearing like he's trying to protect himself.

Trump Tower was wiretapped, and with the sole purpose of finding dirt to Help Hillary.

That's illegal and unethical at its core. But Obama didn't care, like everything else he did he had someone else to take the fall as he looked the other way.
Obama did not know how to govern but he did know sleeze, he oozed sleeze. But he like Hillary is gone now, so I think it is a waste of resource to pursue them. Let their legacies rest at the bottom of the cesspool.
There is no further depth either could be sunk to.

And by the way, that picture..there is no way trumps desk would ever look like that, the man is ocd with order.

I'm constantly having to spell out the political consequences to some of you people. Particularly, regarding independents, who democrats are going to need to get the WH back.

People aren't stupid. They're quite aware of what Hillary got away with, for example. So, when they see the Deep State [or the establishment, if you prefer] using a false/fake pretext to find dirt on Trump they're going to see the obvious double standard.

They're going to rightly conclude the whole process is corrupt. In fact, quite a few voters, who don't have a dog in the fight, would vote for Trump in 2020 just as way to give the proverbial middle finger to the corrupt establishment.
