FBI reopens investigation into Hillary Clinton's e-mails

A president may remove a director with adequate cause.

Congress can also remove an FBI director by impeachment. Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says that any civil officer can be removed if the Senate convicts him of "treason,bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." A two-thirds vote is required for conviction.

In any situation, however, it is much more likely that the president would ask an FBI director to resign rather than fire him. Bill Clinton dismissed Sessions only after he refused to resign.
 
Hillbot isn't even mentioning the subject, LOL!!!! Her circuits are fried over this. She needs some time for her team to coordinate a 'story' on this mess.

There are already reports of Comey (about) ready to START FIRING F.B.I. PEOPLE....for WASTING THE F.B.I.'s TIME & RESOURCES....on BULLSHIT CONSPIRACIES!

It's sounding (more) like another embarrassment for Teabaggers & Trumpoids....but, they've got permission to keep digging.

I personally think this is a big story.

Barring another Trump meltdown or revelation, it could dominate the last week of news. This definitely isn't what Hillary wanted to hear.

Federal law enforcement officials said Friday that the new emails uncovered in the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server were discovered after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, and her husband, Anthony Weiner.

The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. The bureau told Congress on Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the Clinton case — one federal official said they numbered in the thousands — potentially reigniting an issue that has weighed on the presidential campaign and offering a lifeline to Donald J. Trump less than two weeks before the election.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

Mr. Comey said the F.B.I. was taking steps to “determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.” He said he did not know how long it would take to review the emails, or whether the new information was significant.

comey should not have announced this just like should not have trashed her while announcing she was cleared

they would not reopen a case unless this new info warrented it



they would need to go over them first to know
 
They found emails on Anthony Weiner's email account that were not to or from Hillary Clinton and we're not stored on Hillary Clinton's server. They are going to investigate if the emails were confidential or not.
