It's a known fact that after his last bankruptcy filing, Dump couldn't obtain loans from American banks and probably not European banks either. I'm thinking that the only banks that would do business with him were Russian and that was likely because they wanted something very big in return for their investment.

I've been saying for months now that Comrade Trumpsky is probably up to his eyeballs in debt to some Russian bank(s), probably jointly owned by high Russian govt officials, including Putin, along with the Russian Mafia as well.

I would go as far as to speculate that the entire decision for Comrade Trumpsky to run for President to begin with, which would have included the pre-determined assistance from Russian hacking and release of info via WikiLeaks, was all planned out in advance by the Kremlin and with Dumpsky's full cooperation, knowing that he had no choice but to go along or suffer the consequences. Either the release of embarrassing information or possibly even threats on the life of his family members.

if it is leaked information about an investigation, it is fake news. nomad must have been transient or fishing sure enough earlier this week when that was definitively established. we are patiently waiting for indictments for the leakers now. catch up, man.
 
Althea..... Do you realize there have been healthy business relationships between Americans and Russia for years. Especially in clothing and textiles. I lived in NYC in the mid 90's working in retail. The 2 main bosses were always flying back and forth to Russia making deals on items to sell in small shops in the city. The U.S. is not even among Russia’s top 10 trading partners, exchanging around $40 billion worth of exports and imports each year. And yet, Russia remains a crucial market for American retail, construction and energy companies, as well as some of the biggest United States banks. PepsiCo, John Deere and McDonalds are over there, too. Ford has 3 assembly plants there.

Bottom line. It's not a crime to have business dealings with Russia.
