I told you that denial doesn't make it false, it just means that it was denied. It is amazing the trust you put in "During Clinton it was always FISA compliant"...

As well as ignoring the problematic portions of FISA at the same time. Like Warrants after the fact...

If you listen to a pipeline for certain phrases, catch what you want, you can then get a Warrant for what you have done. FISA is in itself a violation of constitutional rights.

Because I know Echelon is on and working all the time I try to say words like President Bush, bomb, Great Satan, and Al Qaeda all the time. I know that it is not going to do anything but I HOPE that sometimes it triggers something and that I take a real time persons time listening to my bullshit conversation. It floors me how many people don't seem to give a shit that the government listens in on ALL our phone calls and if the computer thinks it is important enough a real person will listen to it as well at some point even if it is in a recording.
 
Now about the post. It should not suprise anyone that rightwingers in power in this world were terrified of a person with Einstein's intelligence being a liberal/socialist. It has been the right in this country that has made the word intellectual an insult. God knows we got us too many of them thar in-ta-lectles. People who are very intelligent are more open to progressive ideas, and less likely to want to see the world remain stagnant by embracing the status quo. The unfortunate thing is, the Dems in this country have become as bad as the republicans. They love the status quo of the welfare state as much as the repubs love the status quo of religious moral interference in peoples private lives.

For historical reference, see Galileo. Conservatives there wanted the world to remain in the center of the universe regardless of what the truth was.

What makes it worse is that all the people running around saying, "Well, they were following FISA laws!" as if it makes it better somehow. The after the fact warrants that are never denied pretty much tell me that there is no such thing as a listening warrant any longer.

Yeah, Bush runs around denying he needs a warrant for a call where he is listening to a foreign national even when there is a citizen on the line that they are supposedly not listening to... That doesn't change that FISA laws themselves are a travesty.
 
Right. Well Einstein was a socialist period. Not a liberal but I see what you mean. Same thing with spying on Quakers but not on fundie Christian's who bomb abortion clinics. And with the Earth/sun part I've read that people even got murdered for telling the truth about that. :(

There is no Conflict of Interest Laws for a sitting president or vice president possible...why? Because of 18 U.S.C. Section 202...exempting the President and Vice President from conflict of interest laws. Sure...you can still bring suit for "ethics" violations....but first you have to demonstrate that Mr. Trump received monetary rewards beyond what is normal and customary expressly because he promised some "foreign" power political favors in exchange for that "extra wealth".

Good luck with making the mule push that plow...comrade. FYI: Trump towers exists within the borders of the United States of America...thus, there are no applicable conflict of interest laws to charge anything. He is yet to take office...and you are attempting to prove that he's a future criminal because HE WILL take money from foreign nations. The only thing that appears conflicting is your false premise.
