Absolutely. As I told my son if you are stopped by the police be polite and do what they tell you to do and keep you hands where they can easily be seen. If you have a problem with them the best place to argue with them is in court.

What the mayor says is irrelevant to what ACTUALLY happened. I’ve watched multiple videos and second by second breakdowns of this and there is ZERO evidence he was hit.

He even walked, not limped, immediately to her wrecked car, looked in the driver window and said “Call 9-1-1”. No injury.

A police officer, federal officer, or any other law enforcement officer has the right to use deadly force if:

* A deadly weapon is attempted to be used either against the police or the public. This includes cars, guns, knives, or ANY OTHER deadly weapon.
* The individual poses a threat to others nearby.

BOTH points are satisfied. She tried to ram an officer. She was there to specifically interfere with law enforcement action. She was an immediate threat to others nearby (not just the officers).


It happened AGAIN in Portland. Yes, the officers shot and wounded the driver, who is now now in the hospital.


The ICE agents were there to arrest an illegal alien that had a record of rapes and random assaults. This is what DEMOCRATS want to defend.

This is the mistake all of you are making, conflating, for lack of a better word "real" law enforcement with ICE agents.

I'll be interested to see what arguments ICE will make when their own rules and regulations are quoted back to them in the investigation.

She gave them the authority to arrest her when she tried to obstruct ICE which was the ICE--Warriors stated purpose. She violated Federal law which they had authority to enforce. You should have watched Nate the Lawyer because the video seems to be different from your "transcript" and the video shows videos of thee shooting and offers analyses. You can't get that from a transcript.
