I couldn't pick a better place than where I live if I have to be stuck in one place.
I'd just choose a multi-million dollar waterfront condo instead of the residential neighborhood house that I've got now.
Getting back closer to downtown, as it were, would be great.

The really beautiful people, however, seem to live out of their luggage.

If I had a rotation of places to live, Boston might not be on it.
Boston's good for one stop living because it's sufficiently comprehensive
but also compact and convenient.

A rotation of Manhattan, Las Vegas, one of the major Western European capitals, and a seaside resort town somewhere on the planet

because the commercial airlines can ruin your life all by themselves.

LOL. Um... They haven't fixed the buildings they insured from the last hurricane. My guess is they are trying to get out from under what they underwrote. Take your money and run...

Thanks LR, I would have to move to God's Country- Colorado! I used to spend more time there than here in Texas anyway!

Texas and Colorado are also on that top 5 list of mine. Colorado used to be the destination of choice for me too when I had time off. Still is but not as often. I e expanded my options. ;)

Lol…I’m sure what I talk about from Oklahoma isn’t alluring to most people at all. But I like it. While I thoroughly enjoy visiting different parts of the US and the few foreign places I’ve been to, I’m always super glad to get back home to my land and my people. Well, I might would enjoy shipping a few from here to … elsewhere. Got any room in Boston for a few rednecks who refuse to hold down a job? ;)

Your last paragraph made me giggle because as much as we think we are different we are often very much the same. Your statement applies equally to Florida as it does California. One might say it’s being done for different reasons but at the end of the day it’s the same thing.
