Who knows? Where are they going?
Who cares?
They want nothing to do with the political climate of Florida. Billions in lost revenue.

If I was rich and famous … well, maybe just rich, AND if I were banished from Oklahoma I could live in Maine. It’s in my top 5 list of states for hypothetical relocation.

LOL. Um... They haven't fixed the buildings they insured from the last hurricane. My guess is they are trying to get out from under what they underwrote. Take your money and run...
You have my attention. So State Farm is stopping new policies in California and Florida not because it's a good business decision but to punish enemies of the revolution? I'm guessing a lot of people would read that and not understand what that means, myself included. Is there a translation available?

You live in Arizona? Is there ANYTHING you wont lie about handjob?
Thanks LR, I would have to move to God's Country- Colorado! I used to spend more time there than here in Texas anyway!
TALLAHASSEE — Farmers Insurance Group announced Tuesday that it would no longer write new policies or renew existing homeowner, auto and umbrella policies, a day after Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis took to Twitter to threaten to take action if it did.
The decision affects some 100,000 homeowners, or about a third of its customers in Florida, who hold “Farmers-brand” policies, the Palm Beach Post reported.
“This business decision was necessary to effectively manage risk exposure,” the company said in a statement released to the Tampa Bay Times.

I couldn't pick a better place than where I live if I have to be stuck in one place.
I'd just choose a multi-million dollar waterfront condo instead of the residential neighborhood house that I've got now.
Getting back closer to downtown, as it were, would be great.
The really beautiful people, however, seem to live out of their luggage.
If I had a rotation of places to live, Boston might not be on it.
Boston's good for one stop living because it's sufficiently comprehensive
but also compact and convenient.
A rotation of Manhattan, Las Vegas, one of the major Western European capitals, and a seaside resort town somewhere on the planet
[to replace the scratched Miami Beach, Florida being designated a radioactive zone]
would be perfect.
Yes, that's perfect, but one would also have to be able to afford private charter flights as well,
because the commercial airlines can ruin your life all by themselves.
That's the version of Nifty with enough money.
Sadly, it doesn't exist.
Oklahoma has never sent me brochures, Rev,
so all I've got are your descriptions
which were obviously not intended to lure me!
Lol…I’m sure what I talk about from Oklahoma isn’t alluring to most people at all. But I like it. While I thoroughly enjoy visiting different parts of the US and the few foreign places I’ve been to, I’m always super glad to get back home to my land and my people. Well, I might would enjoy shipping a few from here to … elsewhere. Got any room in Boston for a few rednecks who refuse to hold down a job?![]()

Guano, your point?
Having problems reading?

https://www.clickorlando.com/news/f...investigation-of-farmers-insurance-amid-exit/“Company leadership needs to get ready because my guess is they’re about to get hauled before the Legislature to answer for their actions when the next legislative session begins,” Patronis said. “The more we learn about Farmers Insurance, the more it’s clear its leadership doesn’t know what they’re doing. While they’re bad at helping people, they’re good at virtue signaling.”
Patronis also criticized Farmers Insurance for its use of ESG — environmental, social and governance — policies, which he said detracted from the company’s focus on Florida’s policyholders.
Clearly you are having reading problems.

The Florida government under Ron Desantis seems to be working hard to make sure businesses flee Florida to avoid the regulation he is putting in place.
