Family Research Council Shooting in DC

Quite honestly, in the scope of mass shootings, it wasn't much. A crazy guy shoots another guy, who received superficial wounds. Masses didn't die. He didn't have a stockpile of weapons. Hell, he probably wasn't even gay. Even FOX and Drudge didn't mention it today.

IOW...once you found out it was a liberal shooter shooting for political reasons....it is now no big deal

you're such a hack dopey

Yeah...FOX and Drudge too, right? Furthermore, see below...

right, just a crazy guy shooting another crazy guy. notice the very subtle intimation that crazy guys are conservatives......

The guy wasn't registered in any political party.

Are you and Yurt going to assume he was liberal because he may have been gay or he was against the Chick fil A thing? Does one have to be liberal to be opposed to the Chick fil A position?

My two cents are this, the guy was a volunteer at a LBGT center, and upon entering the FRC headquarters under false pretenses, opened fire on a security guard, that without the heroic action of this guard after being shot, others could have been next. 25 gay rights groups, speaking through GLAD offered their condemnation of the shooter, and their support for the injured guard for a speedy recovery. GLAD acted with class in the wake IMHO... But the pejoratives, and comments made by the shooter as told by witnesses was very much in parallel with those made about Chik Fil A, or possibly that the SPLC tagged the FRC as a "hate group"... In any case not knowing his political affiliation, the assumption would very much point to activist left.

That being said, he was disturbed, and as all those that think they can solve something with their guns are. We should be careful not to make this anything more than any of the others are in the recent rash of high profile gun attacks. And that is an act carried out by a disturbed individual. It has no bearing on legal left leaning gun owners, just as any of the others have anything to do with legal right leaning gun owners.

Shooter was an LGBT volunteer. If the shooter was an NRA volunteer, we'd be hearing all about it. Can you spot the difference?

Truth is, you're hearing about it now, but you inferred we aren't. Spot the difference?

no surprise howey "forgets" the cnn link i gave him that stated the guy was opposed to their conservative policies.

Condemnation by those within the LGBT community is so refreshing compared to support of the Texas and Colorado killers by the right wing, huh?

What support? I haven't seen anyone support the killers. Do you have any links showing support for the Texas and Colorado killers?
