Family of Ashli Babbitt sues to get name of cop who killed their daughter on Jan 6

That is one video from one angle. She did not clear that window. She was shot in cold blood in that window.

Of course she is not 100% through the window. Maybe 90% if you see it at another angle. You can clearly see that the backpack was slightly visible as she entered the window.

That is true. But the conversation kind of got side tracked with what would happen if you shot someone coming through a window at your home. Not as cut and dry as people think it is.

Depends on the state. In Arizona the cops would tell you "Nice grouping!" In Illinois or New York you're probably looking at going to prison.

I made this one from first video for you. I'll make another one from second one.

Clearly, she was through the window before she was put down.

That is all completely wrong Althea. And it is all on video. Which proves just what you are stating to be incorrect.
You just admitted to not being able to watch the video(s). In one video you can see members of Congress about 30 feet away scurrying to safety in that hallway. She had a backpack and was through the window when she got shot.

We can disagree about what is visible in each video, but the family will still lose in court.

The LEO that shot her said no such a thing. There is ZERO evidence in any video that he warned her or asked her to stop. He just shot. And she never breached the window. She was up in it and he shot.
Your refusal to watch the videos leaves you unprepared for this thread. In the one where the family speaks out, there is a kid who says that he repeatedly yelled 'gun!' before she was shot. It's in the audio

You are from NY. You might want to find out what happens if you shoot someone that is in a window breaking into your home.
I already know. The cops here are very helpful when it comes to sorting through the legalities of protecting your home.

Althea, I posted videos. So you can take that off the table. There was one video on youtube that I could not sign in to see. I do not think the family will lose. They should not. The guy has been identified anyway. His bracelet gave him away.

Just saying it is not always as cut an dry as everyone thinks. You know, intent, warning, etc. My theory is just drag his ass inside the house and it is easier to prove.

It absolutely PROVES my point the LEO did not give warning. Just shot. The LEO himself did not do what they are supposed to do.
LEO needs to give no such warning. She was warned by fellow criminals. She didn't care. She thought she was a hero

Read the thread. Sailor changed the subject to protection in the home. But you make a valid point. She was not murdered.

Actually it was me who made the comparison. He claimed that if same thing had happened at one's home, it would still have been murder.
