False outrage against HRC?

Too bad, she was caught....

Can you still be president if you are in a federal prison??

WOW GayRod. You stumbled on it.

A few points.

1) Colin Powell used a private account. Nobody denies it.
2) Colin Powell did not use a home brewed server
3) In 2000 email was just becoming ubiquitous. How to deal with it and its repercussions is a lot different than 2009 don't you think?

It is amazing the knots you guys twist yourselves into to defend her

Don't forget the "it wasn't classified at the time" argument. If you are going to spout Clinton talking points, use them all

What a load of total bullshit......and outright lie from Jughead......

This is what Powell said........

“I had a secure State Department machine for secure material and I had a laptop that I could use for email. I would email relatives, friends, but I would also email in the department,” Powell explained on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”“But it was mostly housekeeping stuff -- what’s the status of this paper, what’s going on here.”
Powell, a Republican who served in the George W. Bush administration, has spoken before about his two computers, and said he wrote an entire chapter about it in his book.
But questions about Powell’s private email setup came as another former secretary of State, Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, has struggled to answer questions about why she used a private email account while conducting official business.

2 computers....a secure one for State Dept. business and a personal one for personal messaging

Hillary's emails v. bush's emails = typical con double standard.

"...in 2007 Karl Rove deleted 22 million emails from a private server in the Bush White House — a matter about which the Beltway media said little and Republicans in Congress, like Rep. John Boehner, said nothing.

Here is a brief refresher on the White House email scandal:

Not long after George W. Bush assumed the presidency in 2001, Rove, his top political aide, set up a private email server for use in the White House. The stated purpose of the system — the primary domain name on which was gwb43.com — was that it would be used exclusively for the sort of political correspondence that Bush and Rove were not permitted to do on the taxpayer’s dime.

...Libby was convicted (Bush quickly commuted the sentence) on March 6, 2007, at the same time Bush and Rove were under fire for purging the U.S. attorneys. During the investigation, it came to light that Rove’s server had been used to send official, non-political emails — correspondence that was required by law to be preserved under the Presidential Records Act.
On April 12, 2007, Rove’s operation admitted that it had deleted at least 5 million emails from the server. In December 2009, technicians who had examined the server reported that the number of emails that had been deleted was far greater — 22 million. What was in the emails? No one will ever know.

But what sort of evidence might have been lost in the 50,000 emails Hillary Clinton deleted? The insinuation from Republicans is that something dispositive about the Benghazi scandal might have been erased. It’s hard to guess what that might have been. What the GOP seems to be looking for in its eight investigations into Benghazi, so far, is a stand-down order issued by the State Department or the White House to the military that left the Benghazi consulate vulnerable to the attack that ensued. These Republicans know, of course, that the Secretary of State doesn’t have the authority to issue orders to the military.

ROFLMAO

BtW her Thighness didn't turn over 50,000 emails. She turned over 50,000 PAGES of emails. You get the difference right?

What am I saying. No you don't.

Look sugar tits, take it up with Obama's FBI

So 50,000 pages of Hillary emails are worse than 22 MILLION missing bush emails. Alrighty then.

Pensito Review has been publishing commentary on politics and the news since January 2005. Coverage focuses on progressive politics......Really ?

The Hatch Act
Main article: Hatch Act of 1939

The Hatch Act prohibits the use of government resources, including email accounts, for political purposes. The Bush administration stated the RNC accounts were used to prevent violation of this Act.

Presidential Records Act

The Presidential Records Act mandates the preservation of all presidential records.

Rove set up a private server for political and RNC business.... that it would be used exclusively for the sort of political correspondence that Bush and Rove were not permitted to do on the taxpayer’s dime.

Your post claims that it came to light that Rove’s server had been used to send official, non-political emails.....any actual proof of that or is that pure conjecture ?
Any alligations of top secret gov. documents on this server ?....

Your artical says "Clinton has said she deleted about 50,000 emails that dealt with personal matters, citing her daughter’s wedding and her mother’s funeral as examples. All the correspondence pertaining to official business was turned over to archived by State. The deletion of the emails, though perfectly legal, has excited House Republicans....

deletion of the emails, perfectly legal for Hillary who used only ONE private server for everything, but not for Rove whose private server was used for political correspondence that is
expressly prohibited on gov. systems.....huh,,,,interesting....

What's really interesting is that Rove deleted 22 million emails. What were the bushies trying to hide?

????.....are any Bush emails missing?.......according to your source they were destroyed.....of course Hilldreary once said her's were destroyed.....then they were found in a closet in Colorado, wasn't it.......did any of Bush's emails include top secret information?.........Hilldreary's did.........

We'll never know why bush had 22 MILLION emails destroyed after they were sought in connection with a Congressional investigation, will we? We just know bush and co. got a pass from hacks like you.

The FBI and Obama's State Dept. are investigating Hillary, not the GOP....
Stand down order issued by the State Dept.??? another lie. Dear....the men who were there, in Benghazi never said anything about the State Dept....the stand order came from the CIA person in charge at the CIA annex....thought he denies it...
He has every reason to lie, the contractors have no reason to lie....that goes for the parents of men killed in Benghazi too....Hillary actually called them liars and they even made notes
at the time she lied to them....Hillary has every reason to lie....those parents do not.....

What's really interesting is that Rove deleted 22 million emails. What were the bushies trying to hide?

What were they "hiding".....RNC private, political business I would guess....anything else is pie in the sky nonsense until proven otherwise....

Hillary's lies about her emails are proven,....top secret gov. business were found on her server....no guessing involved....its undeniable FACT......

How do you know there was nothing top secret on bush's server? Pretty suspicious that they'd be destroyed. But the main point is the double standard of the right.

We'll never know why bush had 22 MILLION emails destroyed after they were sought in connection with a Congressional investigation, will we? We just know bush and co. got a pass from hacks like you.

No one is investigating Hillary's personal, private, ERASED emails either.....we give her a pass on that....Rove's emails aren't even suspected as being anything but what he claims....
RNC political business......you want a little fishing expedition on Rove....
Bush and Rove's gov. business was done on a gov. server.....should be all intact if there is something to investigate.....

The only one acting like a hack is you.....

"What was in the [bush] emails? No one will ever know. It’s likely as not that there was incriminating evidence in the correspondence that tied Rove and others to the treasonous exposure of Agent Plame (which, at a minimum, was a violation of government security), the U.S. attorneys’ purge and perhaps other scandals, including the inquiry into charges that Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff had used his entre with others in the GOP to bribe government officials."

You suppositions are nothing but suppositions....

White House spokesman stated that White House staffers were told to use RNC accounts to "err on the side of avoiding violations of the Hatch Act, but they should also retain that information so it can be reviewed for the Presidential Records Act," and that "some employees ... have communicated about official business on those political email accounts." Stanzel also said that even though RNC policy since 2004 has been to retain all emails of White House staff with RNC accounts, the staffers had the ability to delete the email themselves.

All because of the controversy involving the dismissal of eight U.S. attorneys.

Hardly top secret stuff, this was all over the news media at the time....it was a fishing expedition by Henry Waxman and Bush had every right to hire and fire US Attornys, just as
Bill Clinton did imo.....

In the end, I actually agree with you that all this stuff should have been preserved.....
but it wasn't top secret stuff as Hillary had on her server, bypassing gov. eyes for
over 5 years.....kinda convenient there was no State Dept. IG for her entire time
as Sec. of State......odd coincidence.....

In September 2003, on CNN's Crossfire, Novak asserted: "Nobody in the Bush administration called me to leak this. There is no great crime here," adding that while he learned from two administration officials that Plame was a CIA employee, "

Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage admitted he was Novak's source....
Armitage told Bob Woodward Plame's identity three weeks before talking to Novak, and Armitage himself was aggressively investigated by special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, but was never charged because Fitzgerald found no evidence that Armitage knew of Plame's covert CIA status when he talked to Novak and Woodward.

Armitage confessed and Fitzerald ignored it.....lol.....then tried Libbly for lying to the FBI....talk about an obvious partition witch hunt..... Karl Rove, was indeed Novak's second Bush administration source. When Novak inquired about Wilson's wife working for the CIA, Rove indicated he had heard something like that, according to the source's recounting of the grand jury testimony for the Associated Press. Rove told the grand jury that three days later, he had a phone conversation with Time magazine reporter Matt Cooper and, in an effort to discredit some of Wilson's allegations, informally told Cooper that he believed Wilson's wife worked for the CIA, though he never used her name. Rove also testified to the grand jury that he had heard from Libby that Plame worked for the CIA. Rove testified that Libby told him that he heard the information from journalists.
