Now to answer two extremely stupid questions that have been put while the single american brain cell was being handed round. The Falkland Islanders are British, they speak English (and far better English than you) some of them have been there for nine generations and are more British than many of you are American. Hawaii, well why not give it back to the Hawaiians with an apology for the actions of Loren Thurston the son of a bloody missionary. While you are about it apologise for all the other societies that your god obsession has negatively affected.

Now you have surpassed yourself in irony. A brit posting on a US message board about mainly US issues for years, telling Americans to keep their opinions about the Falklands to themselves. That's messed up. You are the least self-aware person here, maybe excepting Bravo.

I would be interested in reading a real discussion about this, but I can see that is not happening here!

The US did provide military support and suspended all military aid to Argentina during the war. The UK did not ask for, nor did they require, full NATO support for the Falklands war.

Dear Tommy Boy... if you wish us to stop talking about the Falklands, then perhaps you could let your fellow Brit know not to start threads about the Falklands and American participation on a board of predominantly Americans.

I was referring to you specifically as you never seem to offer anything of any substance on the issue. Maybe you should stick to selling insurance policies to blue rinse old ladies. I should also thank you for responding to Snarla as I have the slattern on ignore, fuck you very much!!
