Lies, Damned Lies, and Fox News

The other day Sean Hannity featured some Real Americans telling tales of how they have been hurt by Obamacare. So Eric Stern, who used to work for Brian Schweitzer, had a bright idea: he actually called Hannity’s guests, to get the details.

Sure enough, the businessman who claimed that Obamacare was driving up his costs, forcing him to lay off workers, only has four employees — meaning that Obamacare has no effect whatsoever on his business. The two families complaining about soaring premiums haven’t actually checked out what’s on offer, and Stern estimates that they would in fact see major savings.

You have to wonder about the mindset of people who go on national TV to complain about how they’re suffering from a program based on nothing but what they think they heard somewhere. You might also wonder about what kind of alleged news show features such people without any check on their bona fides. But then again, consider the network.

Pretty sad ... you think they could at least do enough work to find someone who actually has a credible story about how the ACA had hurt them. But maybe there aren't any of those out there...

Krugman is a leftist buffoon who wallows in Keynesian big Government theories. I'm amused that the only evidence given here is anecdotal so I suppose we are required to take his word on this.

But the painful realities of this train wreck coming down the tracks are true and impacting Americans negatively. As we get closer to implementation, we will find many more hidden costs, realize that our choices are in decline and subsequent costs going up.

Another realization for the American people will be all the lies told to them by this Administration and Democrats who saw their short time in the super majority as the opportunity to pass this legislation along party lines with little input from the opposition and little care about the economic effects this will have.

Hopefully the American sheeple will have a wake up call in 2014 and subsequently in 2016 and put an end to this insanity.
