There is, yes. But when portraying yourself as an educator on a public venue, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation are important. Especially so if you put that career under your username and bleat about it every. single. day. People judge us by how we present ourselves. Being able to write correct, coherent, well-organized comments gives you cred.
