Experts Say The Bud Light Boycott Is Totally Backfiring On The Boycotters

I’m laughing that Miller Beer just signed Kid Rock, after shooting up all those Bud Lite cans is he really stupid or thinks his fan are stupid enough to not know Miller is owned by the same company that owns Bud Lite?

Well, you damn near can't buy a beer that In Bev doesn't own...

I bought me a bottle of Bud Light today, makes a nice chaser with Jack Daniels and weed?!!

[FONT=&]It’s not a day on the internet without a fresh batch of absurd outrage. While most of these uproars typically die down quickly, social media’s latest storm has been riding a strange wave of relevance for some time now. And its target is just as surprising: Bud Light.

[FONT=&]Yes, America’s most popular beer has become the latest public enemy among ring wingers on the internet. And the reasoning for this proposed “boycott” is just as ridiculous.

[FONT=&]The backlash began when actress and TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney shared a sponsored post with Bud Light on her Instagram page. Promoting a March Madness sweepstakes from the brand, Mulvaney also showed off the custom can that the company gifted her in honor of her one-year anniversary of transitioning.

“This month I celebrated my day 365 of womanhood,” said Mulvaney, who has been outspoken about her experience as a transgender woman on social media, “and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever: a can with my face on it.”

So your link has no information on Bud just that boycotts do not usually work. I guess losing 6 Billion is not a problem for a company

You are wrong they are part of Coors

There is a trick to get around that. InBev owns Anheuser-Busch, an American company, which can donate as much as they want. On top of that, InBev can consolidate donations by their American employees.

Oh, That's good to know. I did a little research and found some conflicting information, but generally I'd say you were correct. I did find that AB and it's American employees have significantly curtailed their contributions to the DNC. And it's reported that the GOP slacked off on their criticism of AB (which is just smart as far as I'm concerned), not that I've heard them say anything bad about the company myself.

5 minutes ago, you were claiming that they could not donate to anyone, and now you are claiming that they have stopped donating to the Democrats, based on.... secret information.

The Republicans are begging their idiots to backoff InBev, because InBev used to be very generous to the Republicans. After having their families threatened by the Republicans, my guess is they will be noticeably less generous to the Republicans, but we cannot know yet.

The alt right is terrified that if their beer is drank by gay people, it might make them gay by magic.

I'd say the Right doesn't what a product they identify with trashed by it being identified with a miniscule, radical, sexual, abnormality within society. That is, they don't want society, particularly the circles of it they travel in, to be associated with what amounts to them fringe, extremist, sexual deviancies. Like it or not, that's how they see this.

Can you imagine how upset the alt right would get if they found out Blacks were drinking Bud Light?

It looks like that's what AB believes., as well...there was nothing about that stunt that was a positive promotion for the beer...mocking women and March Madness at the same time? In response to a March Madness promotion?
What was he thinking?...;)

InBev is a Belgian company. I was not aware that foreign entities were allowed to contribute to American political bodies. Now, I know that you jackasses make exceptions for china and russia to contribute to YOUR campaigns, but surely you wouldn't let foreigners give to republicans, right?

Maybe you should be aware that the US branch of that company is more than able to make political contributions, Einstein.

The RW SCOTUS approved Citizens United where Money = Votes. Odd to see RWers complain about the results of their own ideology. LOL
